Chapter 16

I meet my whole family at the ship. They hug and kiss me good bye and good luck. My dad holds on to me the longest. "You are a gift. I want you to know that I'm sorry that I haven't really been your dad.", he loosens his grip and puts his hands gently on my shoulder. "I love you, be safe.", there was a awkward silence, but Poltian interrupted and gestured to the ship. Mom gave me one last hug and I was gone.

The ship zoomed away and entered outer space. In front of us were thousands of ships, as well as the back. The sizes were in order from medium to small. Panes face was expectant and ready. We moved a little farther from Tragia and I could see other ships coming in. I wonder if Cammy is somewhere in there? Is she with Jayce? "Prepare the weapons, send the androids out.", Pane ordered. Everyone was on their full attention and had a lot of energy. We come to a stop and I see two robotic monstrosities come on the sides of the ship. There must be more behind. Next thing you know, Antinium zoom in, and the battle begins.

"Set the force field Pane orders as silver rays hit at eachother. Already I see two Antinium ships fall and float away. Is that what will happen to us if we got hit? I tense and try to shake the idea from my head. Pane puts his hand on my shoulder. "You okay?", he asks. "Probably.", I respond.

Cammy POV
I get in a ship with Jayces. His soft hands give me a gentle squeeze on my arm and moves the opposite direction. I gasp with the contact of his skin against mine. It makes me feel like I'm flying and I have never experienced such things when I am with him. Only bald headed men scramble around the ship. Two of them takes me to a seat and help me buckle in. Jayce is on the other side, talking to two men. I turn my attention to the giant wind sheild. I see the war has already begun. They bring a bonus of androids attacking as well. I see a giant ship in the middle which gives me the feeling that Helen is in there, watching me in fear. I smile at the thought. I hope she learns her lesson afterwards. And also Jayce set up a plan that cannot fail. My smile gets even wider and I feel a laugh stuck in my throat.

But then my family comes to mind. Jayce told me they weren't in there, but what if something changed. They wanted to help and came. Of course I trust Jayce but for the first time ever, I feel insecure in those words. Jayce comes up and sits beside me. I look into his green eyes and erase the thought of my family and everyone else and concentrate on him, the gravity that keeps me down, the center of everything around me. Its him. I just feel the urge to reach across and kiss him. Hug him close for him to do the same. I feel that he also has feelings for kebabs they are real. But I just don't want to force him to confess. I put me attention back on the wind sheild and watch everything happening. The giant ship is aiming at us shooting silver rays.We got hit and the power went off for a second, bilking and comes back on. I slow my breathing and grip the chair. Jayce gets up furiously and takes control. He shoots a ray that aims at one of their engines, and it explodes. He grins proudly and I do the same.

Helen POV

The ships tilts side ways, sending of my chair of the floor, the explosion makes my ears ring. Red lights beam all over. What is happening. Pane quickly picks me up and helps me to my feet. We have to take the queen right away.", two men inform Pane he looks at me with painful eyes. "Listen your going to go back and behave. Do not do anything stupid.", he says. "And you?", I ask and grips his suit harder. He shakes his head. "No,", tears swell up in my eyes. "No your coming and your staying me. I cant-", he puts his finger against my lips, cutting me off. "You have to go. You need Roto stay safe. I'll find my way out. I all ways do.", now I'm crying. "Sir,", they warn again. He hugs me and whispers in my ear, "I love you.", he lets go and I can feel other hands on me. I yank away and reach for him, giving him one last kiss. He kisses back but pulls away and by the second, he's gone. They take me to a smaller ship, this makes my cries and sobs louder. But they act like nothing happens. I can't stop thinking about him. We get to Tragia quickly and I can't walk out the ship. My mother's rushes to me pulling her close, sitting on the floor. I cry on her shoulder. "He's gone.", I keep repeating the same thing over and over. "Who's gone?", she asks. I can't help it and spill everything to her. The first time, how we got together, how I felt. Remembering the happy times with him makes me feel better. Bit it doesn't relieve the pain I feel. Like someone stabbed me multiple times in the chest. Poltian rushes in. "I'm sorry,", he comes in confusion and rushing, "We are sending more ships to save the remaining people. But I'm afraid it might be too late before they arrive.", I close my eyes and hope there is still a chance. He will stay alive. For me.
