Evelyn and Eleanor entered a room with their luggage. Both of them gaze at the room for a moment before looking and smiling at each other.
"So we're gonna stay here for a week," Evelyn said as she walked in further with her luggage. She went to the left side of the bed, near the window, and occupied it.
"I'm kind of scared, we never know what's your uncle actually planning," Eleanor said in an amused tone and went towards the other unoccupied place.
"Chill, it's not like he's going to kill us in our sleep," Evelyn chuckled. Eleanor chuckled too and went towards the window on her side and gaze outside. Evelyn began to unpack her things.
"Oh!" Eleanor exclaimed, making her look towards her.
"Aww, we're neighbors," Eleanor squealed and waved at someone. Evelyn creased her brows and strolled towards her. She shook her head in amusement when she saw Mark in the other house at the window. And the moment Nathan appeared beside Mark and looked at them, her eyes went wide, and quickly walked away from there.
Eleanor took notice, glancing at her, and sighed before going to her.
"You're still avoiding him!" She encountered her and gave her a pointed look. "Tell me why do you keep avoiding him?" She asked in an urge.
"I'm not avoiding him. I. Just don't feel like talking to him," Evelyn answered with a shrug.
"And why is that?"
"I don't know," Evelyn said, feeling a little irritated. Eleanor gave her a side glare and pouted at her.
"Are you giving up on him?" Eleanor asked. Evelyn simply glanced at her and didn't answer.
"Answer me," Eleanor said under her pout and slapped lightly over her arm.
"I don't know," Evelyn answered under her groan.
Eleanor regarded her for a moment and pouted visibly, clearly showing her upset expression before going back to her place and silently beginning to unpack her things.
Evelyn let out a sigh and stared blankly for a moment. "My mind is just messed up at the moment," She said in a quiet tone. "I don't know—"
Her words died midway when there was a sudden knock on the door. Eleanor glanced at her and gave a nod before going towards the door to open it.
"William!" Eleanor exclaimed.
"Hello, ladies," William smiled. "This is for the both of you," He said and gave them two pairs of green t-shirts.
"Uh-oh, don't tell me we've been divided group-wise," Eleanor muttered bitterly and doubtfully, taking the t-shirts from him.
"Yes, Trevor's idea. The group is divided into red, yellow, blue, and green teams and I am the green team leader," He told them.
"And here is the schedule," William said and handed her the schedule paper while Evelyn came and joined them. "Things are going to get busy from tomorrow. We better prepare ourselves, and yeah, we are asked to gather at the Square in an hour," He said in an amused tone and smiled at them before walking away from the place.
"I am seriously not liking the vibe here," Eleanor said dubiously under her bitter look. Evelyn simply chuckled at her and took one of the t-shirts from her before strolling back to her former place. A moment later, Eleanor followed suit.
"And yes, you were saying-" She sat down beside her luggage and glanced at Evelyn, gesturing her to continue from where she was interrupted.
"I forgot," Evelyn said with a shrug.
