Evelyn has never been the one to feel sympathy for other people but after what William told her about Kevin's problem last night, she couldn't help but feel sad for him.

As she entered inside her class, Genesis and her minions threw her their usual glare at her and like always she ignored them. Then she roamed her eyes around and landed on Kevin who was quietly seated on his usual spot. She grimaced inwardly looking at the bruises imprinted on his face.

"Evelyn," She heard a familiar voice calling her name from behind and made a turn but the moment she did, a hard slap contact on her left cheek making her head jerk violently to her side. And in a second, gasps and whispers echoed around the classroom.

"Your voice is a nightmare, Victoria," Evelyn said in a taunting tone before turning her head to looked at her. She regarded her for a moment and scoffed out loud in annoyance, "You just can't leave me, don't you? You even followed me here like a dog." She mocked.

"Yes, did you miss me?" Victoria fake squealed wearing her sickening smile that really sickens Evelyn to her bone. "You think I will just let you go after what you did to my girls. I'm here for you, bitch." She said and glared at her.

"Talking about those bitches, how are they? I hope they got their bones in place." Evelyn mocked with a smirked. "I'll let you go for this time only but if you dare lay a hand on me again, I'll make sure that you lose both." She warned her before turning away from her.

"I guess you're unaware of your family news," Victoria mocked making Evelyn stopped at her track and glared back at her.

"What do you mean?" She demanded and trudged forward.

"You should talk to your mother," Victoria said smugly before walking past her. After a moment, Mr Hamitch entered inside and regarded Evelyn before gesturing her to go to her seat. Without a word, Evelyn walked out of the classroom instead of going to her seat.

"Evelyn, where are you going?" Mr Hamitch called at her back but Evelyn didn't stop and continued walking away.

Evelyn made her way up to the roof and dialled on Isaac's number. There's not a chance she's going to call her mother and talk to her—she will never do that.

"Eve," Isaac answered from the other side of the phone.

"Isaac, is there something going on in the family?" She asked directly.

"Eve, the thing is—" As she listened to her brother, she sighed in frustration and at the same time, she felt sad for her brother. "It's a family tradition and we cannot do anything about it. We just found out about it last night and Aaron is still unaware of it."

"How is Jeremy?"

"He is still in his room. He didn't come out since the news last night. But don't worry about him, Eve. I'll take care of him."

Evelyn hung up the call after some moments and huffed out a sigh as she bent over and rested her both hands on the parapet wall.

"I will never let you ruined my brother's life." She growled as she glared down at nothingness. "I will break it off—no matter what,"

Brian walked out of his class and made his way towards the sec-A class to see Evelyn. He waited outside the hallway for her to come out but his eyes went wide in shock on seeing someone unexpected, Victoria. And the first thing that came on his mind was Evelyn's mood—she must be very angry right now.

Victoria noticed him standing outside her class and made her way towards him.

"Hey," She said in a sweet voice. Brian ignored her and walked inside the class. Victoria huffed in annoyance knowing that he went looking for Evelyn.
