Evelyn sat relaxed on her seat and threw a glanced around the classroom before drifting her gaze to the window beside her and stared outside. They had a free lecturer now. Some students stayed inside the classroom and studied for the upcoming evaluation while some were loitering around the campus. And thankfully, those drama queens were out too, leaving her and Eleanor to be the only girls present inside the class at the moment.
Evelyn glanced towards Eleanor and saw her smiling stupidly at Mark who was focused on teaching her a maths solution. She chuckled softly at them before drifting her attention to the door and saw Carla walking in with Nathan. She frowned visibly and rolled her eyes over, looking away from them.
Nathan noticed her mood and shook his head before going towards her.
"Today is the day to take the frames, are you coming?" Russell asked looking at Evelyn.
"What frames?" Nathan asked and sat on the seat in front of Evelyn.
"Photo frames," Russell answered. "Evelyn and I decided to gift the kids with photo frames." He said in a smile.
"So you both planned on visiting the Orphanage without us," Terrence said and narrowed his eyes at both of them.
"We were planning to tell you all after receiving the frames," Evelyn defended.
"Yeah, we thought of going to the Orphanage this weekend- all of us and spend there at the Abyss," Russell informed amusedly.
"Ah yes! With that said," Evelyn exclaimed and flicked her fingers, "I was about to ask you if it's okay to bring my friends along for the weekend." Evelyn said and looked at Nathan expectantly.
"It's totally fine," Nathan agreed and shrugged off.
"Thank you," Evelyn said and lovingly smiled at him, making all of their friends looked at them with amused and knowing smiles. Nathan awkwardly cleared his throat and raked his hand over his hair.
"You two should start dating," Eleanor stated amusedly looking at both of them.
"I know right, Eleanor. I have already-"
Evelyn was interrupted when Nathan kicked on her seat's leg and gave her a pointed look. Evelyn pouted at him and returned back the pointed look while their friends looked at them in complete amusement.
Carla sat silently on her seat and overheard their conversations. She let out a sad sigh before standing up from her seat and leaving the classroom for the second time. After some seconds, Carson came running inside and his eyes directly landed on Nathan.
"Cap!" Carson shouted making everyone turned to look at him. "The Senior football team are causing trouble," He said looking at Nathan. Immediately, the boys stood up from their place and quickly made their way out of the class. Evelyn and Eleanor looked at each other with complete confusion.
"What exactly happened just now?" Eleanor asked with creased eyebrows.
"The Senior and Junior football team don't get along," Pascal said uninterestedly as he kept busy solving down some problems on his book.
"C'mon, Eleanor, let's go and check on them," Evelyn said to which Eleanor nodded immediately and stood up from their place.
By the time they reached the college stadium, the fight was already over. Both the coaches were standing like a barrier between the two teams who were busy glaring into each other. Most of them got their lips busted and bruises on their faces. Evelyn and Eleanor glanced at each other and went closer towards them.
"After class, I want you all in the field, got it," One of the coaches, who was not Trevor, shouted angrily at the Senior team. "If any of you lack to be present, you'll be cut out of the team, got it,"
