William simply stared at him for a moment before laughing softly and shook his head.
"So you're feeling guilty for shouting at her?" William asked amusedly.
Nathan glared at him before rolling his eyes over. "Never mind," He sighed and kept his phone back on the table. Then he sat on his bed and started to rub his towel roughly over his hair, drying it and letting out his frustration over his poor hair.
"Just call and talk to her," William said softly with a sincere smile. Nathan stopped rubbing his hair and looked at him.
"What if she's already asleep?" Nathan pondered.
"She read our group messages just two minutes ago," William said amusedly and showed his phone screen towards him. Wordlessly, Nathan reached for his phone on the table and search for Evelyn's contact number which he saved as 'Grumpy' on his contact list. He pressed on her number and kept it on his ear as he waited patiently for her to receive his call.
"What happened, Nathan?" Evelyn asked right after she received his call.
"Hello to you too," Nathan said and shook his head. Then he cleared his throat awkwardly before continuing to talk. "How are you?" He asked nervously. This was his first time ever talking to her over the phone.
William chuckled heartily at him before turning back to whatever business he was doing. "Damn, I have never seen you being nervous about a thing before," He muttered amusedly under his breath as he simply scrolled down over his phone.
"Nathan, are you okay? We just met some hours ago. Or do you miss me dearly?" Nathan's mouth fell open and gaped at her words.
"Stop playing around," Nathan said quietly. "I just called you to say sorry. I'm sorry for shouting at you earlier, Grumpy. I should have-"
"It's alright. I know you had a rough day today and I just made it worse for you. I'm sorry too," Evelyn interrupted and said. "And thank you for calling, I was wanting to hear your voice, now I can sleep peacefully," She added blatantly making him choked on the air.
"I'm going to sleep now, I"ll see you tomorrow, goodnight," Nathan said quickly.
"Alright, see you tomorrow, goodnight and I love you,"
Nathan was dumbfounded and his mouth fell open once again as he slowly pulled his phone away from his ear and blankly stared at it. He blinked multiple times as he thought about the last three words she just said to him.
"She's unbelievable," He gaped as he continuously brushed his hair with his fingers.
"And you are blushing," William commented amusedly. Nathan turned towards him and gave him a weird look. "What did she say to you that made you blush?" He asked.
"Fuck off, William," Nathan ignored him and quickly curled on his bed, lying on the bed facing the wall.
"Goodnight, Leader," William said amusedly looking at his lying back and reached his hand to turn the lamp off.

Evelyn and Eleanor took their lunches and strolled towards where their friends were seated. They were greeted with smiles as they joined them on the table.
"We're having a national holiday tomorrow followed by the weekend," Emilia informed with a sweet smile.
"Really! Then we can leave for the weekend today," Eleanor chirped happily.
"I have talked with Nathan and he agreed to tag all of us," Evelyn said glancing at her friends at the table.
"Eve," Cornelia said in an apologetic tone, "Mike and I have some plan this weekend," She said sheepishly and blush a little. Beside her, Aaleyah fake clear her throat and gave her a sly look.
