After treating the kids with the dinner and sharing some talks, she succeeded in making them understand each other and not to bully one another. The four kids sincerely apologised to Easton and fortunately, they got along.

"Evelyn, thank you so much for saving us and for treating us," Max said genuinely.

Evelyn smiled at them and exchanged goodbyes with the kids. She then turned on her heels and walked to the other side of the road. But then she stopped midway when she heard someone calling her from behind. She turned back and saw Easton standing some steps away from her.

"What happened, Easton?" She asked.

"Where are you going?" Instead of answering her, Easton asked her and strolled towards her.

"Just wandering off," Evelyn answered in a shrug.

"Can I join you? I don't wanna go home now." Easton said quietly.

"Why? Did you fight with your parents?" Evelyn asked casually and began to walk leisurely and Easton mirrored her.

"No, but my brother did. Dad came back home after a month from a business trip and my brother visited home too and they happened to encounter each other and got in some bad arguments." Easton grimaced and sighed heavily.

"And you hate to see them fighting," Evelyn pondered to which Easton nodded at him. "Then tell them how you feel whenever you see them fighting. You can try to make things to understand between them." She suggested.

"It's not that easy. My brother blames my dad for our mother's death. I am with my brother though. If he didn't-" Easton stopped midway when his phone started ringing up form his pocket. He fetched it from his pocket and grimaced immediately when he saw the 'Brother' name on his phone screen.

"Brother," Easton answered carefully over the phone.

"Maddy told me that you are not home yet, where are you now?" His brother said in a serious tone.

"I'm at-" Easton trialled off and looked around. "-in front of the Della Convenience Store," He said.

"Stay there, I'm coming to pick you up." His brother said and hung up the call.

"My brother is coming to pick me up." Easton sighed and looked at Evelyn as he put his phone inside his pocket.

"Your brother seems protective," Evelyn said and smile brightly thinking about her brothers back at home and suddenly started to miss them. They have always been very overprotective over her but she was one careless little sister and always makes her brothers worry.

"He is and he loves us so much," Easton smiled.

"Us!" Evelyn exclaimed.

"Me and my younger sister," Easton said in a nod. Evelyn made an O shape with her mouth and nodded at him. "By the way, may I know which college do you study, Evelyn?" He asked politely.

"Outrival, "Evelyn answered making his eyes go wide in consideration.

"My brother goes there too, he is-" Easton said and trialled off when he noticed his brother cars approaching towards them. "-already here," He turnover his words and said, looking over her back. Evelyn frowned and turn back to look only to see the familiar black Mercedes park beside the street. Her frown deepened when she saw Nathan coming out of his car.

Nathan's eyes went wide in surprised when he saw Evelyn with his brother. But then frowned immediately when she snapped away from him.

"You're Nathan's brother?" Evelyn stated in surprised rather than asking.
