Evelyn sat still in her position and didn't answer him. She would rather call herself the daughter of a beggar than being the daughter of the chairman.

"No, I'm not," She lied boldly. None of the students knows about her being the only daughter of the chairman except for Brian but they will soon find out at the celebration party. And she doesn't give a damn about it.

Soon the others entered inside and regarded them for a moment before going to their own seats. Adrian turned back and stared at Evelyn.

"Cupcake," He said softly making her looked at him. "Meet me at the roof after class," He told her and quickly turned away from her. Evelyn creased her brows at his back before rolling her eyes over.

Adrian stood by the parapet wall and stared up at the gloomy sky with a promising rain any moment. He let out a sigh and wondered if he is going to do the right thing. He was sure that his feelings for Evelyn were real and that he has already fallen for her but he wonders if she feels the same for him. But deep inside him, he already knows. And it doesn't matter if she doesn't feel the same for him. He will just say what he truly feels for her and get over with it.

"You're are so dead if you try to pull out anything funny, Adrian," Evelyn warned amusedly as she made her way towards him.

"Well, I can't guarantee that," Adrian turned back and said cheekily. Evelyn rolled her eyes and came beside him.

"Why did you call me here?" Evelyn asked casually with her arms crossed over her chest.

"To spend time with you," Adrian said looking at her with a warm smile. Evelyn creased her brows and looked at him.

"Adrian, don't-"

"I'm being serious here, Evelyn." Adrian interrupted her softly and said before turning away from her. Evelyn understood that he was being serious coz for the first time he called her by her name. She stood silently beside him.

"I like you, Evelyn." He confessed. "But don't worry, I know you don't feel the same for me and that's okay. I just wanted to tell my feeling for you and get over with it. Because I know, the more I wait, the more it will grow and then it will be very difficult for me to get over it." He said with a sad smile.

"I'm sorry I don't feel the same for you. I hope you get over it and don't hate me for the rest of your life," She said quietly looking up at the sky. "I don't wanna lose a friend like you." She admitted sincerely and turned to look at him.

Adrian expected it but yet it hurts knowing it in actuality from her. He consumed the pain inside him so well and didn't let the slightest show of it.

"It's funny how within these past weeks of knowing you all, I got quite used to you all," Evelyn said under her chuckled.

"It's not you who got used to us. It's us who got used to you, Cupcake," Adrian corrected and smiled at her. "You are different, and that is why we like you so much. Nobody can hate you even if they want to and do you know why?"

"Why?" Evelyn asked casually.

"Because you are Love."

"Don't make me laugh, Adrian," Evelyn scoffed softly.

"I don't really know about others but it's true that you are a Love for the nine of us." He said with a sincere smile. Then he turned his body towards her and spread his arms wide to her. Evelyn fake glared at him and narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm trying my best not to get hurt because of your indirect rejection but it's hard. Can you comfort me with a hug?" He asked with an amused smile, pretending his best to be casual and cocky like he used to be.
