Zero and Axl teleport in and destroys Repliforce Outcast soldiers.
Axl: Where did these rejects come from?
Zero: Beats me kid, but remember our mission.
Axl: Right: clear the area so Volt Kraken and his shock troops can secure area. All the while, have Omega run rough shot with their heavier army.
Zero dashes and slashes down 2 more Soldiers, Axl follows up with multiple shots destroying a mech wearing pilot. They continue slashing and shooting through the army up until they reach a door. Alia then messages the two hunters.
Alia: Zero, this is Alia. There is an off energy source coming through those doors.
Axl: Well, why don't we have our pal Omega come in a destroy this possible threat? After all, he's much better than mr slow swing.
Alia: even though I don't doubt Omegas capabilities, he's busy clearing out more of these soldiers.
Zero: So we'll just have to do it ourselves.
Axl and Zero enter the door to reveal Iris in a Colonel uniform.
Zero: I-Iris?
Axl: Isn't that your dead girlfriend?
Zero: H-how are you-
Iris: It's the Armageddon Virus, or Code rather. It resurrected a lot of us.
Zero: Well, why are you here?
Iris: My job: the liberation of the Reploids.
Zero: Iris, you know I can't allow you to do that.
Iris: then hows about you stop me.
Zero: ergh..
Iris disappears and reappears jabbing Zero in his back. Axl jumps up in the air and begins to shoot pellets at her. Iris simply deflected the shots. Axl drops down and continues to shoot at Iris. Iris stabs her saber into the ground.Iris: Energy Rush!A Rush of electricity ran through the ground, surprising Axl, forcing him to jump to avoid the attack. He was then met by Iris's slice knocking him to the opposite wall. Zero, getting back up locks sabers with Iris. Iris tried holding her ground, but she soon realized that Zero was pushing her to where Axl was who was slowly getting back up. Before Zero was going to go for a saber swing for her head, she leapt into the air. Zero turned his other arm into his Z buster, firing Level 2 charge shots at her whilst she was descending.
Iris: Sky Rush!
Iris swung her saber and a huge Energy Wave came out towards Zero. Zero then began to fire Level 1 Buster shots to try and break the wave: All but futile. But at the last second, Zero slid under the shot.
Zero: I've had enough, Axl!
Axl leapt up, blind sighting Iris. Zero also leapt up, his blade increasing in size.
Zero and Axl: Final Strike!
A rain of saber swings and buster shots hit Iris. The two then hit the ground on their toes. Iris dropped down with scratches on her.
Iris: Tch, Good shot. But you're too late.
Iris pointed to the sky and he saw what was the Repliforce Outcast Air force.
Iris: Go ahead continue fighting me, but I'll order my ships to fire on you.
Axl tightened his pistols and Zero gripped his saber.But before Iris can act, two Level 3 buster shots and an energy wave hits her, knocking her down. Low and behold it was Omega.
Omega: Heh, eradicating your subordinates was fun, but I had to move in to save these two knuckleheads.
Zero: Took you long enough.
Omega: What can I say? An artist takes his time with his work, and what I did to your Battalion was art.
Iris: Hunter scum..
Iris tried getting up, but was met with Omegas buster in her face.
Omega: You think your ships are gonna harm me? Make it my day.
Iris, knowing she was outmatched teleported away, all the while ordering the Air Force to fall back as the Maverick Hunters got AA guns set up.
Omega: This is Hunter Omega, how did your efforts in securing the area?
VK Trooper: Successful! We were able to set up Anti Air guns and sent them packing.
Omega: Any Repliforce stragglers?
VK Trooper: Possibly.
Omega: Alright, Omega out.
Looks to Axl and Zero.
Omega: I'm gonna stay here and make sure any stragglers don't come back to their base.
Axl: Gotcha, I'll meet you back at base. Axl teleports. Zero glares at Omega for a second before teleporting.
Alia sighs
Axl: Hey Alia, any more alerts before I power down?
Alia: Not any al-
Before Alia can finish her sentence, a warning alarm blared, alerting her of 4 alarms across the planet.
Axl: What now?
Alia: 4 Mavericks have just appeared successfully destroying our bases!
Zero: Volt, can you spare any soldiers to assist us?
Volt Kraken: I'm afraid not Zero. Our reserves are drained completely.
Axl: Damn, if X was here..
Zero: Well we'll just have to make due for what we have. Alia, is any of our weapons plants taken over?
Alia: None to which I can detect, however Geothermal power has been being throttled.
Zero: Then I'll head there.
Zero teleports to that location.
Axl: Any cities being threatened?
Alia: A city up North has been frozen over.
Axl: Piece of cake.Axl teleports to his location.
Alia: Maverick Hunter Omega, this is Head Navigator Alia. Some submarine has been assaulting our Navy. Deal with the issue.
Omega: Roger.
Alia looks at her contacts, seeing some from the Force Metal Incident.
Alia: Not yet.
Alia then moves her head to a photo of her, Douglas, Signas, Zero and X. She looks melancholy at the old photo.
Alia: I wish everything could be back, but wishing isn't going to help the future.
