Zero: X? Y-You're Alive?
X: Zero..
Zero shook his head and got immediately serious
Zero: If you are alive, then where were you for the past 10 years?
X brushed the question off as he approached the Mother Elf with his blue glowing hands. Zero dashed in front of him.
Zero: What are you doing X?
X: Outta my way Zero: I'm gonna deal with the Mother Elf right now.
Zero: By what? Killing it?
X: Banishing it from our world and into the Cyber realm. Now move.
Zero continued to block X's way
X: Zero! Stop being childish and let me do my job.
Zero: I have to do my job too X.
X: And what might that be?
Zero: Protecting the Mother Elf from harm. And for what you're doing is harm.
X: Harm? Really? If anything, I'm doing everyone a favor by getting rid of her.
Zero: X!?
Zero was shocked at X's attitude to the Mother Elf. A century ago, he used the Mother Elf to get rid of the Sigma Virus and now, he wants to get rid of it. Zero tried to stay calm and tried not to raise his saber.
Zero: X... is it because of the Elf Wars? We all know that-
X interrupted Zero
X: We all know that Weil used the Mother Elf to try and conquer the world. Blah blah blah, I already know that Zero.
Zero cleared his throat
Zero: Well, we have her contained. Not only that, but Ciel and Alia are working on a cure to release the curse to which Weil placed on her. All we need is your help.
Zero held his hand out as a gesture of working together. X smacked it away.
X: Zero, do you really believe that a simple 'cure' is gonna save her? If anything, it'll render her dead and unable to control her power! Enough for Redips to take control of her powers!
Zero was shocked at X's answer
Zero: X, you believe Colonel Redips is a Maverick?!
X: He is! I saw his plans with my own eyes! Giga City, Supra Force Metals, the Rebellion Army! He perpetrated it all Zero! In fact, I saw his plan, Zero, with my own eyes! He plans to fuse with the Mother Elf and use it as a way to conquer the planet!
Zero: Do you have proof?
X: Proof? You want proof?!
Zero: Yeah, if Redips is a Maverick, I can take it.
X: So you don't trust me?
Zero: X! Stop jumping to conclusions! If you don't have proof of treasonous actions, then I can't do anything.
X: ...You don't believe me. After everything we've been through, you don't believe me!
Zero: X, We can't just go off of assumptions and accuse people of being Mavericks. You need evidence.
X was growing frustrated and thought of just blasting Zero out of his way. But he continued to listen to his friend.
Zero: X, banishing the Mother Elf would just cause pain to everyone! Mavericks would come back with a new plague and-
