2 days later...
Axl jumps onto a Repliforce Helicopter, shooting multiple times into the cockpit, followed up by Zero slicing the propellers in two. The helicopter crashes in front of Hunter HQ with Hunters giving suppressive fire against Repliforce soldiers. Zero and Axl dash towards the entrance with Omega assisting with rooftop fighting.
Hunter: Captain Axl!
Axl: What is the situation?
Hunter: We're surrounded by the enemy! We're barely holding on and we already had breaches into our building.
Zero cuts down a Repliforce mech in two while Axl and the Hunter were talking.
Zero: Can these blast doors close?!
The hunter nodded.
Zero: Everyone in!
Axl gave an order for every hunter to get inside. One of the hunters closes the blast doors, giving off emergency lighting. Chill Penguin steps back.
Chill Penguin: D-Did it work?
A few punches dented the blast door, before one more destroyed it. Pieces of the door split people in half. Magma Dragoon, Split Mushroom and Frost Walrus came into the base alongside heavier Repliforce soldiers. Some hunters began firing at the 3 large mavericks, but Dragoon replied to their burst of fire with a fiery Hadoken: burning those who opposed him. Zero and Axl readied their weapons, but before they could do that, Flame Stag alongside Omega and Boomer Kuwanger came out alongside their units.
Omega: We can handle them. Zero and Axl, get to the teleporter room and see if it is functional.
Axl: But what about-
Before Axl could finish his sentence, Omega jumped at Dragoon and performed a 7 hit combo slash on him, knocking him back.
Zero: I know this base like the back of my hand, follow me Axl!
Zero tears apart a piece of the floor panel, opening up to a subterranean system of tunnels. The two jumped in and dashed, following where the directions from the walls led to.
Volt Kraken: Damn this Repliforce!
Volt Kraken slams his fist into the ground, electrocuting all Repliforce soldiers in the teleporter room. Volt turned around, not before Alia shoots and destroys a Repliforce spy behind him.
Alia: Tell me about it!
Palette and Layer blasts soldiers coming from the roof. Alia, glances at a hallway and sees it filled with Repliforce Tesla Soldiers: in response, she dons an uncompleted Falcon Armor set and fires its spear buster into the hallway, piercing everyone in.
Layer: There's too many of them and we're trapped with the teleporter destroyed.
Just as if they had an answer, Zero and Axl bust into the room underneath one of the panels.
Zero: Alia, where are the navigators?
Alia: Either dead or evacuated from the initial attack.
Axl tried fiddling with the controls to try and activate the teleporter to no effect.
Palette: No good, I tried repairing it, but they damaged it to the point where I can only fix it with more advanced tools under a less stressful environment.
Volt Kraken: Here comes another wave!
Shielded soldiers began rushing into the room, this forced Volt Kraken to unleash his strongest attack, he began glowing.
