An altar was in the middle of the church-like structure. A Shadowy Reploid was praying to a monument of an angel. Then, a female Reploid butterfly came in, her red eyes and long purple hair was flowing through the air. The shadowy reploid got up and walked towards her.
Purple Empress: Hey, kinda lonely praying in the dark with only yourself Poppy.
Warmaster Poppy looked back at the statue of the Mother Elf then back to Empress.
Warmaster Poppy: Did Gate call me?
Empress shook her head.
Purple Empress: No. He called me.
Warmaster Poppy raised an eyebrow.
Warmaster Poppy: Why? I don't see any point in sending you to your station.
Empress shrugged and walked with Poppy who exited the building and towards the teleporter. They reentered Gates Laboratory to where they saw Infinity Mijinion studying blueprints.
Warmaster Poppy: If you are to fight, do you have a strategy?
Purple Empress, if she was able to smirk, she would smirk. However the plate for a mouth was a problem to show emotions excluding her eyes. Empress then gifted him his favorite flower: a Lily.
Purple Empress: You need to stop overthinking things. It's gonna be a 1v1 fight, and if things don't go my way, I'll improvise.
Warmaster Poppy: B-but... from the last 3 fights our Maverick kind fought, they lost I don't-
Empress shushed him with a finger.
Purple Empress: relax. That's another thing you should try to tone down, nihilistic thinking. Heh, maybe that's why I'm attracted to you.
Before Poppy can speak another word, Purple Empress teleported to her bio chemical laboratory. Poppy held his right arm.
Warmaster Poppy: Just come back in one piece.
Axl was repaired in little time, the only thing to which needed to be repaired was his back strands. Axl walked out to where Zero was waiting.
Zero: Kid, what happened?
Axl: Some Maverick was waiting at the teleporter spot. Heck, it's better for me to show you the recording.
Axl activated the recording software in his body and showed it to Zero. The moment being shown was a huge Maverick in similar stature to Burn Dinorex was holding Axl.
Polar Vortex Ceratosaurus: HAHAHA! You should've been expecting a Maverick to find where you would teleport, kid!
Axl: Ergh.. Shut up you poor excuse of Maverick trash!
Polar Vortex: You're right. I'll put away the trash where trash belongs!
Axl: Don't you mean "I'll put away the trash where it belongs: the dump!"?
This comment angered the Maverick and he replied by throwing Axl through 3 skyscraper sized buildings. After the last building Axl hit, the camera powered off, looking at Polar Vortex hopping from building to building away from the initial point of contact.
Zero: Ok, besides you losing to that Maverick, why did you say you saw X? X has been gone for over a decade.
Axl: I don't know who it was, but it was a blue reploid who got me down on the building.
Zero: (X... alive? Is it possible... No. He can't be alive: I refuse that my friend went-).
