X shot first, Level one buster shots leapt out of his Buster. Zero slid under the shots and tried to slice X. X jumped back, still firing off shots to keep Zero at a distance. Zero got up and knelt;pulling out his Buster and countered his shots with his huge Z Buster shots. X fired Level 3 shots at Zeroes Level 3 Buster blasts. The shots collided with one another creating explosions, rocking the whole room and pushing dust into the air. X was blinded from the dust until it settled: Zero was above in the air with his saber going down at him. X countered by pulling out his built in X saber. The storms of green and silver clashed, sending the two back. X puffed and rushed at Zero. Zero and X began to collide blades, creating sonic booms when clashing. X pulled out his second built in saber, however Zero countered by pulling out a second saber he brought along with him. Now the sword fight continued with two sabers, going twice as fast than before, the two trying to find a fault in their defenses. It was Zero who found X's fault and used it: cutting his forearm and launching him away. X gripped his cut forearm and looked at Zero who dashed at him. X pulled out Magma Splitter and fired a point blank shot at Zero. Zero was shot out of the room and through the opposite wall. Zero hit the ground with a thud, a scorch mark on his chest armor.
Zero: Rggh... That was too close. Almost forgot you could do that X.
X stepped out of the hole to which Zero made.
X: You shouldn't underestimate me Zero.
Zero: Almost forgot about that.
Zero got up and moved faster than X could process. X looked behind him and Zero had his Triple Rod with him. He spun it, hitting X multiple times, but it felt different. The Triple Rod pierced through his back, his armor was compromised. Zero ended that spin with a fully charged Recoil Rod. X was flung back, hitting a rock, further damaging his back. X was going to get back up, but X was then ensnared by an electrified Chain rod. The Chain Rod electrocuted him and brought him back and Zero hit him with an icy Recoil Rod. Ice formed onto the attack and was flung again, damaging his already broken back. Zero tried the same trick again, but his Chain rod was cut by X's Armor piercing saber. The now golden blade shimmered as X painted.
X: Well Zero. I always keep on forgetting that you're a skilled fighter.
X got up, and he began to physically flip through all of his weapons, giving a multi color effect to Zero.
X: You were always more skilled than me Zero, so now, let me use my advantage, and remove you out of my way!
X leapt forward and Zero did the same. The two once allies began to fight with everything that they have.
Echo was on an abandoned island with the other Guardians and Marty,still taking a breather on what just happened.
Marty: They came out of nowhere. I should've checked if Ciel was bugged considering her trips to the Hunters base.
Fighting Fefnir: bah! Can't be bothered now since we're now here. Also Harpuia, why did you have to drag me on the water? I think my feet are getting rusty from that seawater.
Sage Harpuia: Tch. I would've been able to pick you up, but you're as heavy as a tank and I wasn't built for pure strength.
Echo starred in the plains of the island. Only to have his focus snapped out by Phantom putting a hand on his shoulder.
Hidden Phantom: Is everything ok?
Echo: Yeah. Just thinking about what Light gave me.
Hidden Phantom: You didn't discuss much about your near death experience.
Phantom didn't want to sound offensive towards Echo, but Echo budged and sighed
Echo: The armor program Light gave me was for X. It looked so.. Powerful!
