I stared at the walls if my bedroom, well more the door frame and window sill. I could see small blue lines twisting over the wood, circling and shifting, moving as they glowed softly on frames. My roommate was at class still, it was only 1am. I wasn't sure if I wanted to meet her, but on the wall over her bed was heaps of posters of bands and her iPod that was laying on her bed was softly playing music. She must have left in a hurry.

I noticed that on the end of my bed was a pile of clothes. Jumpers and shirts to be exact. You apparently didn't have to were certain pants. Which was good, you could were jeans or even track pants, shorts, or a skirt if you were into that thing. But you had to wear the shirts and jumper. It was odd cause the jumpers were all purple with a white logo of some stars and a moon. The shirt had the logo too but they were in white, pink and teal with a black, green, blue or purple logo.

I kept looking at my timetable and frowning.

And that was only Monday. I scanned over each day. There was also S-Hall, Gym, Wpns, Health, and Out-ed. Sigh. I guess I'll have to ask my roommate what those classes were. We had been shown around the school, shown the classrooms and some other stuff like the canteen. Track confused me, we were in Building 7 which we hadn't been allowed in, something about a class being in there. It reminded me of a gym but it was... different.

I decided to take a walk around and instantly felt out of place. Everyone walked around like they owned the place. And I mean everyone, even the emo and freak kids - nerds even walked around easily like no one was going to mess with them. I rounded the corner and walked into the court yard. Shrubs lined the path and were dotted with yellow, white, blue and purple flowers. I felt my muscles relax. I fought off the urge to yawn.

The moon was high in the sky and cast a glow over the school making it look old and creepy but at the same time welcoming. The moon's glow made everyone walking around seem to glow too, hair sleek and silky while their skin was flawless, eyes shone in the light and the soft breeze seemed to lift their hair. I was out of place since everyone was wearing the school shirt while I wasn't. That's when something caught my eyes.

Someone fell to the ground as the people around the guy laughed. The guy glared up at the guy over him. The guy on the ground looked eighteen and had sandy colored hair while the guy standing over him looked the same age but with dark brown hair. Blondie got up and glared at the guy. "It's ironic isn't it?" Someone said walking over toward the dark haired guy. The blonde guy scurried off but glared back at the brown haired guy. The new guy had black hair and a small smirk played on his lips.

"What's ironic?" The brown haired guy snarled.

"You laugh when someone falls over when the same thing happens to you not long after and everyone else laughs." The new guy said.

"What are-" The brown haired guy was cut off as he fell to the ground. I didn't see how the black haired guy did it, one minute he was standing there than his leg moved out and the next thing you know, he was slowly walking away with his hands in his pockets. Everyone laughed except the brown haired guy and his friends.

I smiled and shook my head. I started walking again when a bell chimed over the school grounds. People moved in and out of classes, new people started to hang around the court yard as people moved away. I walked into one of the buildings, wonding what the classes were like. I walked past a door and looked in, people in there were talking as the teacher was writing on the board. So I continued walking around until someone ran into me. "Sorry!" The girl shouted then keep running as some other people advanced on her. I would have been worried if they weren't laughing so hard they were nearly falling over.

I noted most rooms had the curtains pulled down so no one could look into the room. That's when a guy looked at me like I was a meal. I glared at him but he only scoffed and looked me up and down. What's wrong with the guy? He pushed off the wall he was leaning on and started walking towards me slowly. I swayed slightly feeling my chest filling with slow breaths. The guy got closer and looked down at me. "Wanna hang out?"

"No." I say plainly but continue glaring at him.

"Come on... but for a little while," I remember this was the guy from earlier, the one who had tripped that brunette. He seemed to have recovered from his own trip and was now looking for someone else to annoy. The brown haired guy smiled slyly.

"No," I repeat and straighten up. "You can walk away now, cause no matter what you say, it's a no." I growl softly.

He went to open his mouth but someone cut him off. "Stop harassing people Jason, she said no. Now leave he alone." Jason looked over my shoulder before smiling slightly.

"Only seeing if she needed help, sir." Jason then stalked away and I looked over my shoulder at the person. He was tall and lean, his head was nearly bald and his eyes were dark brown. His skin was tanned and he wore an untucked white suit shirt with some suit pants. On a normal person it would look unfinished but on this guy it looked clean, neat and easy. His dark eyes moved to me and his smile made his eyes gleam. He looked about thirty.

"Hello, I'm Mr Connin. Don't worry about Jason, he's all bark, no bite... well... I wish that was true. Watch yourself around here, not everyone is as nice as they seem." He then started to walk away. I then headed back to my dorm hoping my roommate was back, thoughts rushing through my mind on what Mr Connin meant.
