Ch 31 Suspision

Emily grinned as she sat down next to me, her chin being placed into her hands as she watched me, amusement playing in her eyes. "So?" she asked a knowing look in her eyes.

"So what?" I frown at her.

"Oh don't play dumb Kat!" She whispers to me. "I saw you and Lucas getting...hot" she grinned and leaned in when she talked, her voice low.

"What?" I ask almost fearful. If Emily had seen it who else had?

Emily rolled her eyes and shifted in her seat. "I only seen when he had kissed your hands then yous too looked really...close" she grinned. "But i ran away when Mr Connin decided to invade the party, but i did see him-" she cut herself off and lifted her hand and did the same motion as Lucas had when he had touched my neck and made me drop my neck back. I shivered remembering it.

"Nothing happened" I say looked down at my hands remembering him kissing them and was surprised all the red marks and blisters where gone, i hide my surprise though, or tried to. I knew that what i said was a lie. A lot had happened. Not that i knew what had actually really happened.

Emily grinned evilly. "Yeah, right then nothing happened"

"No, nothing happened at all" i say feeling relieved when the teacher walked in. Emily smiled at me in a way to say we will walk about this later before she turned to the teacher as he started going over how to track a person.

"Oh my god! Shut up!" i shout at Emily laughing, hoping i wasn't snapping at her too nasty. Emily grinned and scrunched her nose at me. God, what did i have to do to make her shut up?

"No, not until you admit something happened" she snarls playfully.

"Nothing happened though!" i say shaking my head. She was still hung up on seeing me and Lucas together and was convinced something happened, which i could see why. It wasn't every day you would see what she saw. Most Vampires didn't drink another students blood, most went to the fridges in the dorms for blood. Otherwise they did it in privet, it was like sex. You didn't have sex in public...well some do.

Emily shook her head. "Your so stubborn. You can't tell me nothing happened-WHOA!!" her mouth fell open and she suddenly stopped. I followed her gaze over to where Angel was sitting....with Eric.

"Well, nothing happened with me and Lucas, but something did happen with them to" i state watching them talk and smile at each other.

Emily nodded in agreement as we walked over. Bianca was already sitting down looking at them with disgust as they talked about something. I slid into the seat next to Bianca and grin devilishly as Angel and Eric looked at me. "Tell tell" I rested my elbows on the table and leaned in like she was going to tell me a big secret.

"Not until you tell me what happened between you and Lucas" Angel grinned evilly.

I suddenly felt picked on and exposed but tried not to let it show. "Nothing happened between me and Lucas, like i was just tell Emily" I shot her a look then looked back at Angel. "Okay? Nothing happened. Now what happened between yous too?"

"Nothing" Angel smiles and flips her hair. "Just like Nothing happened between you and Lucas." Eric laughed and i saw he had his arm around her waist.

I narrowed my eyes at her. "Well fine" i say lifting my nose. "I only wanted for you to say 'Oh thank you Kat for doing what you did and secretly setting us up....even if it wasn't so secretly'-" I say in a high pitch voice and act dramatic "-'and thank you for being such an awesome friend!'" Emily and Eric laughed at me while Angel just rolled her eyes.

"Fine 'Oh thank you Kat for being such an idiot and not telling me about you and Lucas when i got back to the dorm last night'" She says dramatically.

I glare at her playfully. "Well fuck you too" i scoff and look away from her earning more laughter.

"3 o'clock!" Emily squeals and points to a table. I follow her finger and see Lucas sitting at a table with his room mate and a few other people.

"I heard he nearly bit you" Bianca suddenly says which surprised me. I had nearly forgot she was here.

"Misunderstanding" i say hoping they would fall for it, unfortunately my friends were smarter then that and something was up.

"It's going around the whole school you know" Bianca said and bit her lip. "I really don't care if he does Kat, just...be careful" she says and her eyes flicker to Lucas. "You don't know what he's capably of"

"And you do?" It had left my mouth before i thought about how defensive that sounded.

Bianca looked at me. "Do any of us ever know what any ones capably of" She said calmly. We sat in silence for a while until i notice the smell of Cinnamon and Garlic. Angel seemed to notice it to and our eyes locked. Eric suddenly stood up and smiled down at Angel.

"I got to go, talk to you later" he said and walked away. I suddenly felt a pair of eyes on me and looked towards Lucas who was looking at me. Our eyes locked and the cold embrace wrapped around me, my skin tinging. His blue eyes watched me intently, making me feel unselfconscious. I broke my gaze from him and looked down at my hands. I then looked back up and lifted my left hand and pointed to my palm with my other hand. It was a question, and i hoped he knew that. I wanted to know if he was responsible for healing my hands.

Lucas gave a single small nod making me smiled. I lowered my hands and mouthed the word thank you to him making him smile slightly. I smiled back then turned to my friends who were already talking about something. Bianca looked between me and Lucas spuriously then joined the conversation.
