"Heyo!" I said waving at the group of outcasts

Diluc stared at me unimpressed "Your late."

"Does it matter? All your gonna tell us is that you found the abyss mage and that we gotta go hunt it down right? Let's go go go!" I said as I began marching.

Aether called out to me. "Akemi... You're going the wrong way."

"I knew that!"

"....Guys... The bubble... isn't popping.. I think I may die before I- Urgh fly to space!"

I floated painfully as I listened to the conversation from the bubble I was in. Turns out that abyss mage was interfering with the connection between Venti and Dvalin.

'I find that hard to believe since the ice abyss mages are way smarter than hydro abyss mages.. Why leave it to the dumbass?'

"Hnng-"

...I shouldn't be thinking this, I'm the one who actually fell into that damn mages bubble.

After their whole conversation, Venti set me free and I thuded into the ground. My cap also fell off my head.

My eyes where swirling for awhile. "Why... did you not let me out sooner.."

Venti just ignored me.

"Screw you all... you want me dead I just know it.. I've lost the will the stand on my feet!"

Aether looked at me with amusement and stuck his hand out "Here, I'll help you up" he said.

What an angel. Nevermind I'll stand up.

I grabbed my cap and took his hand as he lifted me up. I stumbled a little, but that was all. "Thanks Aether."

"Ho~ so we just need to fight monster from the abyss, and a dragon! No pressure of anything!" Said a certain sarcastic fairy

"Heyyy don't by like that! The hillichurls have feelings to! And besides, it'll be easy! We have a God, A powerful tevern owner, the cool grandmaster, the traveller and me!" I assured.

"But... if your gonna be a wimp I guess you should be chicken~" I said smugly.

"Who are you calling chicken Flamebrains!? PAIMONS NOT EMERGANCY FOOD" Paimon shouted.

"Humans aren't without their strengths, let's go."

Venti began talking as if he was telling a story. "And so, the epic actions of brave heroes finally leads to this eleventh hour."

Venti slapped my hand away when I reached my hand to touch the barrier.

"It's a storm barrier! It looks so dangerous..."

"Oh really!? I thought it was a peacful house!" I said sarcastically.

'How is Venti not annoyed by that damn Paimon speaking the obvious-'

"Leave it to me!" Venti spoke confidentiality. "Though this wooden lyre is all that I have, I don't need the lyre to break through this storm barri- wait- what is that."

We all turned around to see Hillichurls, Mitachurls and that one other type of churl that i can't remember.

"Gasp! We've been ambushed!" I said, not very suprised by this.
