A/N
Hi!
For reference, or whatever, here's what I'd say Akemi's bedroom looks like. No matter what, I always thought that it would definitely be messy because of how all over the place Akemi's mind is.
And since she's always travelling, she can't always drop things off at Mondstadt, so Akemi would 100% have a lot of random magic items or something just scattered around her room, hoping to find somewhere to place it!Okay no more rambling, enjoy reading!

3rd POV
Paimon's eyes narrowed slightly as she drew closer to Akemi, examining her with an expression of mild confusion. She was obviously perplexed by the unexpected question Akemi had asked because she was dreaming and was now demanding an explanation. "What kind of dream were you even having to ask a question like that!?"
For a moment, Akemi looked away, her cheeks burning in embarrassment as she looked down at the ground. "I don't wanna say..." she mumbled quietly, trying to deflect the question. Shesoon overcomes the visual turmoil on her face as she turned back to Paimon and looked her in the eyes. "But you can answer that question, right?"
Aether pondered the situation for a bit before making a sudden realization. He didn't know much about the war that had taken place back in the past either."Well, there's a lot to say about it, but I don't know the full story..." Aether turned to look at Paimon, hoping she would be able to provide some insights into the matter.
Paimon shrugged her shoulders, appearing slightly sheepish. "Me neither! To be honest, we've been focusing a lot on Khaenri'ah and the Abyss".
Akemi frowned, her features distorting into an expression of childlike disappointment. Her bottom lip jutted out as she glared at Aether in the eyes, her expression filled with the frustrations and disappointments that only a child could feel. Her brows furrowed in irritation, and her brow twitched slightly.
Paimon let out a thoughtful "Hm..." as she pondered the situation. Then, a spark of realization seemed to light up her eyes. "Ah!" she exclaimed, snapping her fingers in revelation.
"You know- Akemi, you are a big hoarder!" Paimon suddenly blurts out, much to the young girl's surprise. Akemi faltered, turning to face Paimon in confusion and offense. "Hey!" she mumbled in protest, not understanding why Paimon would declare such an uncalled-for statement.
Realizing her mistake, Paimon frantically shook her head as she tried to correct herself. "No, no! I mean, surely somewhere in that messy room of yours, you have at least one book on the Archon war!" She frantically said, trying to avert potential disaster. Even if Akemi had lost her vision, she proved that she was still able to use her fire magic, and Paimon would rather avoid angering her to the point of using it.
Akemi stared back at Paimon with disdain, her eyes narrow and her features twisted in anger. Her brows furrowed, and she puffed out her cheeks. "I would?" they challenged, as if Paimon had made a completely ridiculous assumption.
Before the situation could escalate further, Aether intervened. His reassuring smile appeared on his face as he spoke.
"A lot of the books you gave me had a lot of history behind them," he stated calmly, hoping to diffuse the tension. "I think you should check.""Hm..." She glared sharply at Aether for a moment, but it eventually dissipates as she started to calm down. "Okay... I'll go search my room," she said, standing up straight and walking off to investigate.
Aether lets out a soft sigh of relief as he follows behind Akemi, the situation finally seeming to de-escalate."I'll help!" he offers, looking forward to searching her room with her. "We have time before we have to go on our next mission," he adds, his tone light and cheerful.
