3rd POV
One week has passed since Akemi's sudden appearance in Inazuma. While leaving Watatsumi Island was an option, she decided it was be kept on the island until the item that brought her here could take her back.
After all, even if she didn't want to say it out loud, Akemi knew her limits and Inazuma was definitely not where she should be at this time.
'I was planning on coming her last if anything...'
Thankfully, after doing a full examination on the circular object she realised that it was currently automatically recharging itself, and all she needed to do was wait much to her relief. Once that's done Akemi would be able to return home with no problems.
She also noticed a really fancy 'A' on there, it was probably a signature from the designer of it.
And so for now, Akemi was willing to be patient for a few more days until she could leave.
Besides, there were many things and people here that could surely entertain a child simply wanting to go home.
Like the guard Akemi chose to bother.
"Stop following me kid!"
The man was sick of this child already, Akemi kept interacting with his soldiers non-stop, forcing him to shoo her away every time to the maidens.
Meanwhile Akemi was getting a riot out of this, and she wasn't sure why.
"Oh come on Mr. Rowan, I'm not doing anything bad here!" She claimed.
The man irked at the child's statement, growing even more angrier. "Who told you my name??? Go away already!"
Akemi confidently folded her arms as the man shouted at her. "What are you gonna do!? Put me in the naughty corner?? Try it then!!"
It did slightly annoy Akemi how persistent this man was to keep her away from terrorizing the soldiers. It was as if the man saw her as a plague. In her opinion, there's nothing wrong with a foreign, curious child wanting to interact with new people.
Nevertheless, the man was getting more irritated at the child every second, and he let out a long sigh in frustration. "Look," he said through gritted teeth, "I've asked you multiple times to leave my troops alone, but you seem set on pestering them. I don't know what you're trying to accomplish, but you're starting to get on my nerves. So I'm going to give you one last chance to back off before I get really mad, okay?"
He was definitely serious about it. The way his yellow eyes burned into Akemi was proof of it.
Yet for some reason, she could not take this seriously.
Akemi covers her mouth as she tries to hold in a laugh, if he really wanted to fight that'd be even better for her. "Oh nooo... I'm so scared of you releasing your inner demons!" She says in a sarcastic tone.
The man's face turned red with anger as he watched the child casually mock him. "That's it. I've had enough of you," he snapped, "you're going to learn your lesson one way or another." He reached out and grabbed Akemi by her cloak, pulling her up to face level with him.
In response, she let out a quiet squeek, but other than that she resembled a cat being held at the neck.
"Now listen to me, you little pest," he said angrily, "you're going to stay away from my soldiers right now, or else." The man's face was an angry glare as he stared down at the child. As Akemi was ready to reply with a witty comment, but before she could, someone had begun approaching to intervene. Gorou, the young man who had recently become a General a week ago.
