Luna's mind was back at the prison—the sick, Melissa and Glenn struggling to hold on, Maggie holding everything together, Rick trying to figure out who had killed Karen and David. It was too much. Too much happening at once.

For almost six months, life had been quiet. Peaceful, even. They built a community, a home, a sanctuary. And then, just like that, it all unraveled because of a damn flu.

She wasn't sure where she would rather be—inside, helping the sick, or out here, searching for the meds that could save them. Right now, she just felt helpless.

The group moved in silence, their boots crunching over fallen leaves as they navigated the woods. Another night lost, and Luna wondered if that was all they were losing.

She kicked a small rock out of her path, but something about it caught her eye. It stood out—darker than the others, speckled with reds and browns. She knelt, brushing the dirt away before picking it up.

"Hey, look what I found." she called, walking up to Daryl, who trudged beside her.

He took it from her, rubbing a bit of saliva on his thumb and clearing off the dirt. His expression shifted ever so slightly—something softer, almost thoughtful.
