"Okay," Luna began, leaning her arms casually over the wooden pallet that shielded them from the outside, "Favorite movie?"
Melissa hummed thoughtfully, her eyes scanning the woods beyond the fence, her rifle steady in her hands as she rested it between the gaps. "I'm torn between Seven—y'know, the one with Brad Pitt—and My Girl. The one with the kid from Home Alone."
Luna tilted her head, mildly surprised at the juxtaposition. "Those are... wildly different choices."
Melissa had been put on watch to release Carl from his night shift and because it was super boring, she'd told Luna to keep her company. Luna had been saying how much she wanted to help with these kind of chores for the group, she wanted to be a good asset, not keep her days locked up like a little girl and so Melissa said she would teach her the ways.
Step one: keep watch. Easy and boring.
It was around noon which meant her shift would be over soon. Rick, Daryl and Hershel went out to have a meeting with the Governor earlier in the morning, which had the sister worried sick. Anything could go wrong with the man and she hated that she was not there to make sure things were okay. But Rick said he'd rather have her safe at the prison than near the sick man.
