LOVE SO PASSION

CHAPTER 28

Malvis had planned to kill Elvis and he almost succeeded. But his heart is shattered and broken because it's quite obvious that he has lost Sofia's heart. It may still be oblivious to her but he felt it today after their encounter at the office.

He knew Elvis will come looking for him and he had planned very well how he will provoke him and lead him to the road and bam the truck he had prepared will hit him. He knew that the best way to have Sofia was to make her a widow.

Sofia's words about not wanting him anymore broke any reservations of conscience. He wants her at any cost. He was broken when she uttered everything she heard that day from Livinus.

But no he wasn't giving up. So far he has invested greatly into Trinity and he was going to use just that to get her back to him.

He was going to tamper with their funds but first with a scandal. No Sofia wouldn't enjoy her marriage no he wouldn't let her go so easily.

She looked happy, refreshed and at peace when he sighted her leaving the office not her office actually but her husband's.

One could tell there was a level of intimacy between them already even without asking.

When Sofia had eventually left Malvis and the entire office building she felt frustrated, when will she have time to share her heart with Elvis.

He was much stronger and better than all those weeks ago. She had fervently prayed throughout those weeks for his quick recovery. She knew that she was taking a great risk to make her confessions on both love and the end of her relationship with Malvis.

She made up her mind to do so the next night after his return from the hospital.

Elvis requested to be taken to his family home. He needed to freshen his mind before going back to the house he shared with Sofia.

Sofia felt hurt a little as though he was avoiding her but then an idea crept into her mind. She was going to see Martha whose baby decided to come into this world much early.

He was a healthy baby boy who looked so much like his parents but got his father's eyes. Martha looked happy and different but obviously a proud look was in her eyes each time she stared down at her baby.

Livinus played the role of a great husband and dad perfectly well to a T within the short time she spent with them.

Martha was so understanding when Sofia tried to apologise for not coming to see them earlier after their return from the hospital.

After long conversations and interactions relating to sweet baby Arlo(fortified hill) yes that's his name and Malvis.

Martha was glad Sofia has realized the wrong path she was taking before.

Sofia felt a little sad that this beautiful family was leaving soon but they promised to keep in touch now and after they return to London.

They had really been so helpful to her,they had saved her from a bad relationship and someone called Malvis.

Elvis had just gotten back from his family home and his parents had spoken to him.

His mom had divulged everything that Sofia shared with her. He was already contemplating an anullment so that Sofia will make her choice thinking that she was still in love with
Malvis moreover they haven't consummated their marriage.

But then his mom shocked him with everything Sofia shared with her except that she kept the kissing part away from him. Making up his mind he was going to speak with her tonight.

No matter how hard he tries to stay away from her she was always orbiting his circle.

His heart still yearned for her, he knew then that his love for her that began in that hospital all those many years ago was never going to die.

When he came in he met the housekeeper, Madam Rosey who was already setting up dinner.

He was really hungry but he optioned to quickly shower before coming down. By the time he could finish and come downstairs Sofia was already back home.

She looked so tired but glad. She felt optimistic yet a little skeptical, these he observed from the balcony above the living room.

She still slept in the guest room downstairs, as she attempts opening the door she felt his gaze on cue he quickly hides before she looks up. Not seeing anyone at the balcony she enters her room.

By the time she came out of her room he had already finished eating and she decided to eat on her own and cleared the remaining dishes.

Before she sort him out she prayed to God to help her tonight to open up to her husband.

Seeking him out she finds him in the smaller living room.

He was listening to a worship song by Mercy Chinwo( She's one of Nigeria's gospel artist).

As she steps in the room was dimly litted, on the center table she saw his medications which he must have taken,he was wearing a black polo with a pair of joggers these clothes once fitted him perfectly but now they were loosed on him.

She made up her mind there and then that she would feed him very well to fatten up and she could see him seated with his head slouched backwards approaching him tentatively she could see his eyes were closed as she made up her mind to leave thinking he was at sleep she hits her twinkle toes on the edge of the sofa loosing her balance and coupled with the pain she almost fell backwards but she didn't feel any painful impact.

Opening her eyes she comes face to face with Elvis who had caught her mid fall. They both stared at the other for a few seconds before he asks her if she was alright.

Allowing her stand up comfortably he makes room for her on the sofa he was occupying.

Not here to drag this conversation for another day. Sofia begins to open her heart to him.

Apologising first for keeping her relationship with Malvis from him she adds that if she had been open much earlier their family wouldn't have given their consent to marry Malvis because they would have found out who he was,she also told him about that night and how she felt guilty and good about it.

She didn't know when she started crying.

All the while Elvis paid rapt attention to everything she said. He saw how bare her heart was in her words and once more he saw that new emotion he saw the other time during his days in the hospital.

Overwhelmed Elvis couldn't say anything but he knew just what to do at this moment.

Lifting her face he looks into her tear-stained eyes and down to her lips and did what he has always wanted to do,he kissed his wife.

The very love of his heart, surprised but accepting Sofia kissed him back.

Oh my heart...love is in the air. Can you my darlings guess what will happen next....
