CHAPTER 2

Back from Memory Lane,SOFIA could only smile sharing with the proud parents in their joy and happiness. Speaking up she expressed her joy and happiness "Wow! that's great news, I am so happy for you Sir and Ma" she stands up to embrace them both.

After much exchange of excitement, they made known to her their plans for a welcome home party and that they will love it if she would be the chairwoman of the planning committee.

Stunned she just stared at them,this was the first time they are giving her such a very important responsibility and it was like an invitation to become part of their lives more intimately.

Have they shown her great kindness yes but this felt different and she wasn't going to turn it down,mistaking her expression for rejection Charlotte quickly told her in a concerned manner that she could leave it if she couldn't handle it correcting her quickly SOFIA affirmed that she will be so honored to do it.

SOFIA took her time journaling all the ideas they had for the party. And also taking time to throw in some better ideas in other to ensure that modern ideas were inconcerted to suit their son's taste in the modern times.

They talked at length and drank some wine feeling joyous and extremely happy for what was about to happen in their lives, while sofia's mind wonders what he would probably look like assuredly her mind responded "MORE HANDSOME "causing her to smile secretly to herself.

Exactly two weeks later ELVIS arrives home, nothing could be compared to the joy and excitement he saw on his parents face nothing could be traded for their honest feelings towards his return.

He had sternly warned them to not bother about him before he left to further his studies abroad, he still missed them and occasionally they flaunted his instructions and called frequently.

But aside from his parents, he never will forget the beauty and grace he saw from SOFIA, he knew that the time was right to express his feelings towards her,they never left him despite the SIX YEARS that had kept them apart.

He was being mindful of her age and the great misunderstanding she may have had if he had opened up way back. It was one of the very reasons he left. He has always dreamed of her and imagined how much she has grown,and his parents are always eager to let him know of every step she took in the process of maturity but it looks like they didn't do a good job in their descriptions.

Wading off those thoughts he made up his mind to enjoy the party tonight. Looking around for SOFIA his eyes fell on her although from a distance he could see every inch of her well, she was wearing a beautiful purple dinner dress,fitting at every curve and it has a long sleeve that is a bit off the shoulder simple but elegant because of the way she carried herself in it.

She looked so beautiful and confident,although she isn't on her natural hair she had styled her weaves in a very stylish and simple way. He has always known her to be stylish and confident in whatsoever she wears that he knew was also an influence of his mother.

Still in his thoughts as he stared at her she looks up and stares back at him while giving him a genuine smile both of them oblivious to their surroundings.
