LOVE SO PASSION

CHAPTER 1

              23 YEARS LATER.
           
Life has totally changed and seasons has come and gone.. But one thing is certain "ADA"will not continue to be a girl neither will "OBI" continue to remain a boy(A TYPICAL Nigerian PROVERB USED IN THE EASTERN PART MOSTLY, AN INDIRECT WAY TO SAY THAT CHILDREN WILL ONE DAY GROW UP TO BE ADULTS). 
     

        Sofia Johnson sits in the large but beautiful and creatively furnished lounge of her "father's" office. Yes, Elijah adopted her years earlier but she decided to keep her real Father's last name as a way of retaining his name until she marries and decides what else to do with the name with her husband.

Beautiful and gorgeous in every sense the black beauty was tensed and concerned about the meeting Elijah has called for.

She hopes he has not found out about her secret relationship with Malvis.

Although in time past she had told Malvis that it was right to let her adoptive family know about them but he had vehemently refused.

          
Still she assures herself that it could be something else.SOFIA has always remined herself of how indebted she will always be to the Chukwuma's for their tremendous sacrifice and kindness towards her.

Once she was through with her university education in one of the most prestigious universities in the EAST she was given an automatic employment to one of Elijah's company.

TRINITY COMPANIES do nothing but give back to humanity in diverse ways, a proper way to invest and inspire lives.

Sofia could only be more grateful for all they have done for her, lost in her thoughts she couldn't hear the elderly secretary call out to her, until she taps her.  "Ma!" she suddenly responds to her.

"You can go in now Dr Elijah awaits you" Mrs Ugo says to her whilst giving her a bemused look.  Muttering a thank you and scrambling for her bag Sofia walks in.
       

         
Sofia has always found great pleasure coming into Dr Elijah's office, she finds so much joy and peace.

A very expanse office creatively furnished and decorated, full of books on a shelf at a larger portion of the room, and a large  well crafted table stands in the center of the room with important files lined up accompanied with a pen holder occupied with assorted pens, beside the files sits a photo frame with Dr Elijah and his family.

Taking her time to admire the office as she always does her eyes settles on the elderly couple engrossed in a very intimate conversation all the while unaware of her presence.

They have become a very intricate part of her life over the last year's of her growth into adulthood, Mrs Charlotte has treated her as a daughter, loving and caring for her through the processes of becoming a  woman.

Always dressed in similar colour contrast she takes notice of their fashion sense Dr Elijah is wearing a three piece suit cream coloured, with sliver signs of age on his once black hair and Mrs Charlotte adorned in a beautiful purple coloured skirt suit with her hair styled in her signature hairdo a shoulder length bob...sighing with pleasure in thought she takes in all the good values they had impacted in her life these years she had lived them.

It was at this point they noticed her and began apologizing as they approached her hand in hand, motioning her to sit. Taking a sit in the lush leather sofa opposite  her.   

"We have good news for you dear, Charlotte spoke first with a broad smile on her finely wrinkled face.

"Our son is coming back home after six years of being away.He has finished his assignment and he called us earlier on to tell us that he was coming back two weeks from now, never to leave us again",Elijah added with a touch of fatherly joy and pride while smiling too.

Taking her time to travel back to remember this son they were talking about she quickly remembers a very unique handsome face while smiling secretly to herself.
       

 
ELVIS was a shadow protecting her and watching over her as she grew up everyday, he had always shown her great Kindness, compassion and love. Not sure of what to call the emotions she started feeling towards him at a particular stage of her life he started keeping a safe distance once she celebrated her sixteen birthday.

Although she had gathered so much courage to tell him how she  felt she remained grateful each time her mind reminds her that he was still a brother to her and they had remained very great friends until six years ago when had he left to further his education. And now they will see again.
