Saved by Two Chapter 22:

Avlon's grip on me tightens when i stop in the doorway. "Avlon this is Waynes girlfriend Tiffany and her daughter Miaya." I look back at her and shes looking all around the room looking like shes ready to jet. "Do you wanna say hi Angle?"

Her eyes widen and she looks up at me. Her breathing becomes larboard and she starts fidgeting. "Wheres dad?" she questions lightly and i look around for Walter but i dont see him anywhere.

"He went to the kitchen, said he was thirsty." Houston informs and Avlon look over at him. He wavs at her and she gives him a small wave back.

"WALTER!" Tim shouts making Avlon jump about a foot in the air. She screams with it and presses her face in my back. "Sorry, sorry." Tim rushes out when we all give him disapproving looks.

"C'mon baby lets go find ya dad." Avlon quickly nods and walks infront of me out of the room.

The kitchen os empty when we enter and i can tell Avlons startling to panic. "Where is he?" she asks raspy.

"Calm down angle. I'm sure hes okay."

"What if hes not.What if someone took him?"

Turnng her to me i grab onto her shoulders "Avlon, Avlon calm down. Lets go check the house."

Right when we walk out of the kitchen we run inot Walter. Literally i smack into him. "Daddy." Avlon sighs in relief going to give him a hug.

"Hey baby girl. What's the matter?" he asks her but looks upt o me. I point at him and he looks confused.

"I though someone took you." she mumbles into his chest. Walter looks horrified as he runs his hands along her hair.

"No sweet heart i was using the bathroom. Did you go say hello to everyone yet."

She shakes her head and says "Theirs to many people."

"C'mon we can say hello and then go outside where theres more room to breath."

Avlon looks uncertain but agrees anyways. Walter leads her to the living room and she grabs my hand before she could get to far away. "Avlon just wanted to say hello and then we want to go outside."

"Hi i'm Avlon. It's nice to meet you." she says to them quietly.

Once we get outside May give Houston the meats telling him to get cooking. Avlon stays close to my side or Walters as we sit at the table talking to everyone. "What do you do for fun Avlon?" Tiffany asks her and i look at Avlon.

"Watch movies with Dallas and play with Rogger and Sunny."

"Watching movies?" Tiffany asks looking at me and i just shrug. "What's your favorite movie?"

"The Lion King." Avlon says with a smile.

"That is the best movie of all time." Eva says jumping into the conversation.

"I loved it untill Mikey wanted to watch it every day non stop." May laughs and i nod in agreement with her. Avlonn loves that movie and she watches it evvery time i allow her to. Which is every time because i cant say no to her.

"My favorite is The Little Mermaid." Tiffany laughs and they all get into a friendly conversation about their favorite animated movies.

Getting up i go over to Houston and notice his focus is off in the distance. I follow his eyes and see a car coming up my drive. "Who's that?" Houston asks and i shake my head as i watch the car speed down my drive coming at us quickly.

"Never seen it before." The car comes to a stop and Walter turns to us confused.

"What's George doin here?"

"George?" i ask with raised eyebrows because i know that man didnt come here uninvited. "Zoe's father?"

"Right." Walter syas watching as the man gets out of his car. I walk off ot meet him at his car with the men fallowing close behind.

"Mr. Williams i thought i told you not to come here." My patience with this man is running really thin. First he call and demand he see her than he shows up uninvited when i told him she wasnt ready to see anyone.

"Well Mr. Carter i wanted to see my grand daughter and thats what im gonna do." he says trying to get past me.

I sigh loudly shaking my head. "No, Mr. Williams it's not. On the phone i informed you i would speak to Avlon and get back to you. I do believe i told you not to come to my home. Now i suggest you leave before i call the sheriff."

"Call the sheriff Mr. Carter and ill inform him you stole my granddaughter." he says threateningly and i give him a confused look.

"May take Avlon inside please." i say looking back at them. May nods and hurriedly takes Avlon inside. "I didnt steal her Mr. Williams i saved her. You had no intent about her untill your daughter informed you she was in existence and here. When i call the sheriff he'll have already known about her because Houston is a deputy and already informed him of this. He knows Avlon is nineteen and can choose where she wants to stay. Which is with me because i am the one who found her and the one shes comfortable with. Don't get into something you wont win." i inform him.

"I'll be back with the sheriff to get my grand daughter."  he threatens getting back into his car.
