Chapter 17

Saved by Two Chapter Seventeen:

My eyes snap open when i hit the floor with a loud thump. A hand touches my head and i look up to see Avlon looking at me concerned. "Are you okay?" she asks with a small smile.

Sitting up i rub the back of my head. "I'm good i must have fallen asleep."

"At my door?" she asks cocking her head.

"I told you i wan't moving untill you came out." Sighing loudly Avlon sits beside me holding her blanket tighter to her.

"I didn't think you were serious."

I pull her on my lap and she rests her head against my chest. "Where were you going?"

"Your room." she mumbles into my chest with a yawn. Standing i make her squeal and hold onto me tightly. "Where are you going Dallas?"

Chuckling i head toward our destination "My room Angle that is where you were going." I set her on my bed and she looks at me confused. "I'm sleeping on the floor."

Shaking her head she sits up. "No Dallas this is your bed. I can sleep on the floor."

"Nope" i say and kiss her on the head and grab a pillow. Walking over to the closet i grab a blanket and get conformable on the floor. "Night Angle i love you."

"I love you to Dallas, Goodnight."

"Dallas." someone whispers and then they start shaking me lightly. "Dallas wake up sleepy head."

I open my eyes to see my Angle smiling at me. "Hey." i mumble blinking a few times to clear my vision.

"Hey, you have been asleep for ever. It's one." she informs me and my eyes widen as i sit up.

"Why didn't you wake me earlier?"

Shrugging Avlon says "You looked to peaceful and i know sleeping against my door wan't comfortable."

Pulling her hand to me i give it a slight kiss and smile. "It was for you." I stand and stretch out my muscles. "Did you eat?"

Nodding she sits on the bed. "Yes, and i already went out to see Sunny. I want you to take me to see your brother." she states confidently and i just stair at her surprised.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes." she says nodding. "Houston is your brother and you love him so i love him. I need to get use to the people around you before i can go to church and i want to go to church." she informs me with a smile.

Grinning i kiss her forehead. "You are amazing Angle."

"Thanks. So will you hurry and get dressed before i change my mind?"

 I nod quickly because i dont want her to change her mind this is a step for her and i dont want her to regret it. Avlon leaves me to get dressed and i rush to my cell phone. Houston picks up on the second ring. "Long time brother."

"I know." i say ashamed because me and my brother see each other everyday and if not see talk. I have just been so busy with Avlon lately i havn't been able to see him.

"I get it Dallas. Avlon needs you if it was the other way around i would be the same."

My brother always understands. Chuckling i say "Thanks but anyways Avlon just told me she wants to visit you."

"What?" he asks shocked and then rushes "When?"

"I know she's amazing and today right now. I'm getting dressed as we speak." I hop around trying to pull on my pants with one hand.

"What made her want to come over?"

"She told me she loved me." Houston gasps and then i hear a i told you so from May so im guessing im on speaker. "She just woke me up and said she wanted to know my family and since i loved you she did."

"When did she tell you she loved you?" May asks and Houston says "Woman give me the phone back."

"Last night."

"Awwww." May coo's into the phone. "Ya'll are so cute together."

I blush and then Houston must have snatched the phone back because he says "Well hurry up and get over here i want to see my sister in-law." he laughs loudly and hangs up before i can say anything back.

All i can think is i wish she was my wife.
