Saved by Two Chapter Sixteen:

"Where's Avlon?" i ask Walter when i get back to the house and don't spot Sunny or Avlon.

"She went with Wayne." he states and i raise an eyebrow at him. "Maggie went into labor and he wanted to see if she would like to see it. She agreed after a little bit of debating. I checked in on her and she was talking to him."

I get more and more shocked with the more he says. First she went away with Wayne and now shes talking to him.

"How long has she been with him?"

Walter looks at his watch "About two hours. She's probably going to be upset that you told her an hour." I nod in agreement. She might be worried that i didnt come back when i said that i woudnt be coming back at all.

When i get to the barn i walk to the back and hear Avlon laughing. Peaking around the corner i see her laughing at the baby cow as it tries to stand. Wayne spots me and comes over to me smiling. "She asks alot of questions."

Giving him an amused look i nod in a agreement. "What has she asked you?"

"How old i was then how old Tiffany was. If i had parents. Why did i look so young, Do ii have a favorite television show and then she told me all about Supernatural." he chuckles "The show actually seems interesting." I nod confirming it is very interesting.

"I'm happy she talked to you."

"I was surprised at first and then i just became amused. She seems so young at times."

"She didnt know alot when she got here. She was in a basement her whole life and her mom taught her everything but she was killed when Avlon was seven so she wasn't tough much." I explain and he looks horrified. I give him a small smile because i feel the same way.

"Dallas." Avlon calls excitedly i look at her and shes pointing at the calf. "Isn't he adorable!"

"He is." i state giving her a smile. "Do you want to give him a name?"

She looks surprised. "Really?" i nod telling her to go on and name him. "I wanna name him Rogger."

"Why Rogger?" i ask and Wayne chuckles.

"Because i always wanted to name my baby Rogger but momma said that i wont be able to have babies so he can be my baby."

I blink a few times trying to figure out why she wouldnt be able to have babies and how her mother knew this. "How did your momma know Angle?"

Avlon looks back at Rogger and explains "Momma wanted to be a doctor. When i would come back form my birthday she would check me. The first time when i was four i remember her crying when she checked me. She screamed and cried and banged on the door yelling at him that he was a 'rapest'. On my seventh birthday thats what they were yelling about and she said that now i wont be able to have babies." She was raped when she was Four and very birthday since was she raped even when it wasn't her birthday? Avlon shrugs and says "I didnt want babies if they had to live like me so then i was okay with it..."

"Are you now?" i ask her because she desnt seem like shes okay with it anymore.

Avlon looks at Wayne and shakes her head when she looks back at me. She must not want to talk about this infront of him. "I'm hungry can i have some coco puffs?" She stands and brushes off her jeans .

"Ya'll didn't feed my Angle?" Accusingly i look at Wayne and he puts his hands up in mock surrender.

"She didnt say she was hungry."

"Alright Wayne see ya. C'mon Angle lets get you some food." Avlon looks at Rogger one last time and then she follows me out of the barn. I watch her trying to read her expression but its confusing. All i know is that shes thinking really hard about something.

When we get into the house she dismisses herself saying she wants to take a shower before she eats. I agree and watch as she walks away slowly still in thought. I do the same as her and get a shower in my room.

I think about what could possibly be on her mind as im in the shower and when i get out to dress. She has never just walked around in thought untill i asked her about a baby.

Avlon is sitting at the table eating her bowl of coco puffs but shes not really into eating them. She's staring down at the table chewing slowly. I go up behind her and touch her shoulder making her jump. "Avlon baby are you alright?" I ask her truly concerned.

"Mhmmm." she mumbles and i sit beside her turning my chair toward her. I just watch her as she takes another bites and chews. Her face is blank but i cn tell shes thinking really hard about something.

"Angle?" i ask and she doesnt respond she just sits there staring at the table. "Angle?" i ask again and no responce. Picking her up i place her on my lap and pull her chin up to look at me. "Do you wanna talk about it?" i ask her softly staring into her green eyes.

She keeps eye contact longer than usual and then she looks over so i let go of her chin. She opens her mouth to say something and looks at me lost. "Avlon baby what ever you have to say you can tell me. I love you and nothing you have to say is going to change that." i remind her.

Avlon gives me a smile and says "Thats the thing....... When i look at you i never want you to leave. When you do go away for a few hours i wonder if your okay what your doing and most importantly if your going to come back." I look at her in shock because i didnt know she thought like that. I knew she worried if i was going to come back but i thought that it was because she felt safe with me.

"Your the only person i like to touch me. It gives me comfort and something else i dont know what it is but it isn't scary anymore. Sometimes i have to pull away from you but its me thinking about him not you thats scaring me." she explains and i get a bit of relief because i thought she didnt like me touching her. I nod and give her a smile to continue. "I dont love you because you make me feel safe i love you because of who you are." My breath catches in my throat when she says she loves me.

I would do anything for her and protect her from anyone and now that i know she loves me im never letting her go. Wrapping my arms around her i burry my head in her neck and mumble "I love you to Angle."

My Angle giggles musical and wraps her arms around me. "I knew i liked you a LOT but when Zoe came over and today......."

Pulling back i look at her. "Is that what has you upset?"

Nodding she says "I didn't want babies before because i didnt want them to get beat and...... I just didn't want them to go through what i did. When momma told me that i was happy because there wasn't a chance my baby would go through Hell. When i came here, when i met you." she says looking at me before she stands and turns. Before she walks out of the room she says "You shouldn't love me."

I stare after her shocked and confused. Why shouldn't i love her i know all that she decided to tell me and its all horrible but i still love her nun the less. She's my angle God sent her to me so why shouldn't i love her? She's amazing and has a good heart along with wonderful beautiful.

"Avlon!" i shout after her. Her bedroom door closes and i rush up the stairs knocking at the door. She doesn't answer so i sit resting my back against the door. "Angle, I don't care if you can have babies. I love you no matter what and their are other ways that we can have babies. If God wants you to have babies all we have to do is pray and ask him and it will happen. If you having a baby is part of his plan Angle you will have a baby no matter how long it takes or how hard it is he will make it possible. If he doesnt want you to carry your baby their is other people that can carry them for you or theirs adoption." Informing her of this is a shot but i know i have to get real with her.

"Don't ever tell me i shouldnt love you because it just makes me love you even more. You are beautiful Angle and nothing is going to change that. You may have been through alot but i still love you because your you. When you laugh its music to my ears when you talk to me or give me hugs it makes my day. Nothing you could do could ever make me stop loving you."
