Belle.

He called me Belle.

Does this mean he remembers me? I hate to admit it, but him merely calling me Belle has my heart fluttering in my chest. This is bad.

"Belle?" Eliza questions, breaking the silence and pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Yes, Belle. You told me that her name is Bellerose, so I call her Belle." he says, his eyes not leaving mine.

"That's kind of...romantic, like a pet name for your lover." Eliza teases, her eyes moving between Raine and I and I immediately slap her arm, staring at her as though she is crazy. She merely smiles and I quickly realize why when I feel heat rush to my cheeks.

I'm blushing.

"It's funny, because she has the same name as someone I know. I called that person Belle too." Raine suddenly says, and almost immediately, the heat from my cheeks disappear, leaving a coldness behind.

What did he just say? He knows someone else with my name? He calls that person Belle too? That's me!

How can he not tell that it's me?

"And who is that person to you?" I find myself blurting out, unable to keep it in. I need to know what he thinks of me, even if he thinks that we are two different people. Maybe if I like what he thinks of me, I'll tell him that I am the person he's talking about. He looks surprised by my question, his eyes flashing for a second.

"Well, who is she to me?" he repeats, placing his finger underneath his chin as he thinks. "Not sure. I don't really know her that well. At least not emotionally."

"So you know her physically?" Eliza buts in, her eyes lighting up in curiosity.

He merely smiles, giving her the answer she seeks. I swallow uncomfortably, shifting in my spot. A soft groan escapes my lips. I really hate this. Never mind, I won't tell him that it's me. Its best for me that he doesn't know.

"Was she pretty?" Eliza asks, taking a step closer to him, and even though this topic embarrasses me, I can't help but look at Raine with wide and hesitant eyes. His eyes meet mine and I can be imagining it, but they soften when they land on me.

"Yes. She was the most beautiful woman I have ever laid my eyes on." he confesses, making my heart swell in my chest. That's sweet.

And then suddenly Eliza turns to me with regretful eyes. "I'm sorry Rose. It seems like he's in love with this woman."

I cough, choking on my saliva. He's in love with her? No, he's in love with me? No way...

"Are you interested in her?" I find myself asking, unable to stop myself. I need to find out.

"Yes." he simply answers without any hesitation. My heart drops to my stomach. He's interested in me. Raine is interested in me.

My legs become weak, feeling like jelly and I fall down to the ground, but before I touch the ground, Raine is by my side and his arms are around me, holding me merely a few inches above the ground.

It's as if everything around us slows down and all I can see is him. His eyes meet mine, and I can't stop staring at him. He's interested in me.

"Do you like me?" I blurt out, my words hesitant and my eyes wide. My breathing is unsteady, and my heart feels like it's going to jump out of my chest. I feel overwhelmed.

"Yes, I like you." he says and then suddenly, his lips are on mine. It shocks me, but I find myself melting against his touch, my hands reaching up to delve into his thick hair. His tongue finds mine, making me shiver in pleasure.

He leans back and I find myself crawling onto his lap, my lips pressing harder against his. His hands are on my face, and then on my waist, underneath my top.

I want him.

"Rose?" I hear a vague voice call out. "Rose!"

My eyes snap open. They are all staring at me and when I look around, I realize. That didn't really happen. He didn't really kiss me.

It was all my imagination.
