Cold Hearted Bodyguard

Cheng family was a very wealthy and powerful family. Zhao Yunlan clicked his tongue knowing why his father is so concerned about this family suddenly. They are the rising power and getting along with them will be proved very much advantageous to Zhao group.

Still he can't put his finger on his father's idea. Why does he want him to tag along?
He can't even dress as he wish.
His day was surely going bad.

Yunlan called Chu to know whereabouts of his bodyguard Shen Wei. Because Shen Wei usually ignores his phone call. Yeah he does. Zhao thinks it's because he is very moody and he calls Shen Wei without any reason when he is bored. So Shen Wei started to ignore his calls.

Zhao complained, saying how will he cope with him if he doesn't even pick up his master's phone! Shen Wei replied that he is his bodyguard not babysitter.

The idea Zhao get from Shen Wei that he is very serious about his job, doesn't like doing any extra activities, he is usually cold to Zhao but becomes softer when Zhao feels insecure and Shen Wei blindly obliges his father without questioning his decisions.

He is always a mystery to Zhao Yunlan.
But Yunlan knows very well that, he doesn't let anyone else, other than Shen Wei, treat him like that. He just can't bring himself to get mad at his bodyguard. Yunlan would never withstand such attitude from any of his underlings.

He knew, somehow he treats Shen Wei specially.

Yunlan was thinking while walking towards the parking lot, that he has to dress up like a mannequin to please his father next and his days can't get worse just then he saw something and stopped abruptly. The manager was walking behind him, filling him in with some important details, he also halted midway.

Yunlan's blood suddenly boiled when he saw Shen Wei conversing with a girl. He saw Shen Wei accepting a drink from her with a smile. Zhao Yunlan rolled his eyes when she still stayed there flirting with him.

He told the manager, "Fire that girl."

The manager was baffled at this sudden order. Yunlan didn't ask for her name or anything. He doesn't need to know any of that.

The manager did not say anything sensing Zhao's mood and nodded yes. He left quickly.
Zhao Yunlan was drinking from his canned juice and his eyes were still set on Shen Wei and the girl.

The girl left after bowing many times, with a wide smile and Shen Wei also waved back with slight smile. Then Shen Wei looked at the juice-can in his hand he slightly shook it. Then he dumped it into a dustbin nearby. His eyes turned cold like ice, devoid of any emotion, totally different from the warm eyes that the girl saw.

Zhao Yunlan smirked seeing that. He guessed it and Shen Wei did exactly what Yunlan thought he would do. He approached him with steady steps,
"How can you do that? The girl will be heartbroken. " He said, dramatically putting his hand on his own heart.

Shen Wei looked at him inexplicably, then he asked back, "are you done? Should we leave? "

Zhao was this close to throwing a tantrum, "You need to answer me. "

"I would, if it was work related. " Shen Wei said.

"Oh yeah?" Yunlan angrily stepped in the car.

Shen Wei sighed, 'what was he supposed to answer? He doesn't know. '

After five minutes of riding silently, Yunlan spoke first, "you think of me as a trouble child don't you? "

"I do.. Sometimes. " Shen Wei said eyes not leaving the road.
"You were not supposed to answer that. " Yunlan said.
