Jaune POV:

As I watched the raindrops begin to hit the car window, I couldn't stop myself from remembering my first ever meeting with Lester because it ended with us sitting on a bench in the rain.

"Remember, just look forward and pretend you are reading the newspaper which is laying on the bench," A text message said from an unknown, but I guessed it was Lester that Micheal had been telling me of. Apparently, he is the best in business for planning and selling the goods from heists. And Micheal trust him and advised me to listen to his every word.

Lester had instructed me to walk towards the central park then sit on a bench with a days-old newspaper. I slowly sat on the bench and began reading it slowly for six minutes until a man with a wooden cane sat next to me and looked forward watching the pigeons in front of us.

"So you are Jaune Micheal has been telling me about," The man known as Lester said.

"Yes, and you must be Lester then," I said.

"Correct, just keep reading that newspaper, but I've looked into you and kicked from Beacon, and you got in because of fake transcripts amateur," Lester said while coughing.

"Would have probably been able to graduate, yet a bully named Cardin would fuck me over," I answered back with slight anger in my voice not wanting to remember those times.

"Ha, you were one of the weakest students in Beacon, hardly knew anything about grimm or aura, hardly knew how to fucking fight, and you think you would have been able to graduate nice joke buddy," Lester said while I just gritted my teeth.

"Are you here to just fuck with me, or are were too fucking talk business," I questioned while I shot an angry glance towards his direction.

"Calm down and keep reading, I always do a background check on people before I meet with them, but Micheal told me you might be able to fit into a heist crew so tell me, have you ever robbed a store before?" He asked while feeding the pigeons.

"No," I said while starting to feel a pair of raindrops fall on me.

"Well then, let's begin small and plan a simply store robbery to see if you have the guts to rob someone," Lester said before getting up and walking away as it slowly began to rain.

Then a couple of days later, I finally did my first ever robbery on some poor guys store. At first, I was nervous to the bone and could barely drive towards the location without crashing, but after I did it, all the pressure disappeared, and I left with nothing but joy.

Then slowly, I began robbing stores left and right to prepare myself for the bigger heist since Michael once said "If you can't rob something simple as a store, how do you think you would be able to rob a jewellery shop or bank?"

Then I started an mc gang, something I never thought I would do when I first wanted to become a huntsman, joined beacon then became a criminal. I always were told crime doesn't pay, but it does if you manage to get away but would have to look over your shoulder every second since there is no calling the cops if you get robbed of that money or killed for it.

As I started my gang, I also would have to recruit people, and I couldn't just recruit someone off the street, and the person stabbed me in the back. It had to be people I could trust. So I recruited from the Faunus population since they rarely get any jobs because of their features, were always poor and homeless.

I slowly walked towards a group of Faunus who had managed to contact me interested in a deal I was offering. Which was a steady home, steady income, but you would work for me even if it was illegal.

"So you are the human," One Faunus said as he stepped towards me while one human and one Faunus bodyguard were behind me ready to leap in if anything happened.

"Correct, I'm the human offering you a better life than living on the street," I said, and as they watched me sceptically.

"Are you working legit or under the table?" Another asked wondering if I was hiring for a legit business or an illegal one.

"Under the table, but trust me if you work for me, you will manage to gain respect, money, and even women if you as much desire it, all you need to do is be loyal towards me and follow my orders without question," I told them. Some of the Faunus slowly walked forward interested in this deal.

"How can we trust a human like you?" Another one asked, but before I could answer my Faunus bodyguard spoke up,"

"Hey Alex, Remember me? We used to be best friends in the day before we got separated but trust me, this human has given me a home, money and even respect among humans and he doesn't tolerate any kinda racism and sees everyone as equal," My Faunus bodyguard spoke up with a serious tone and managed to bring forth the group. Some only wanted to test it, and if they didn't like it. I told them they could go away with some money and they would never be bothered by me again.

And these faunus managed to become perfect because they would do almost anything for money and a place to stay, even if it meant becoming a criminal. Not only that saving the faunus also meant their loyalty to me was high since even If I was a human I saved them from poverty and starvation.

Also, how I managed to meet Ricky, a tiger faunus down in the lowest of low both physically and mentally.

"Another human, wanna spit on me? look at me with disgust?" Ricky asked as he barely managed to look at me standing in the dirt poor district for the Faunus.

"No, I'm here to help you," I told the Faunus, and he looked at me confused.

"Why help someone like me? a fucking disgusting Faunus," He asked while slowly sitting up after lying on the cold ground.

"Because you have been pushed down far too long,"

"Right by you humans," Ricky said with a bit of malice in his voice.

"Well, do you think this wouldn't happen if everyone else was a Faunus also?" I asked, and he looked at me with a puzzled look.

"What do you mean?"

"Don't you think some Faunus would think they are better, higher in the social standing than other ones? like cat Faunus might think they are better than dog Faunus," As I said that the Faunus just chuckled.

"So what it probably is better than having humans one do that towards us," He said but sounding unsure.

"Sure, sure, but back to my question, do you want my help to get you out of this shit hole?" I asked the Faunus again,

"Alright, but can I trust you?" He asked, looking straight into my eyes.

"You can I give you my word as an arc and my honour," I told him.

"You an arc?" He asked, and I let out a chuckle.

"Former," I answered back, and he let out a small laugh and accepted the deal.

After that Ricky proved to be a valued asset to my crew, who got along with the others a lot and would often help me with advice on different topics around making more money. He even was fiercely protective of me and would often almost beat up people for talking shit about me.

As I looked out of the car window, my scroll suddenly began to ring out and, as I looked at the caller ID, it said unknown. Not knowing if I wanted to answer this call since it could be a trick I still did.

"Hello, who might this be?" I asked and didn't expect an answer.

"Hey, Jaune," And as the voice spoke, I could barely respond.

"Ren?" I managed to get out

"Yea, Hey Jaune," Ren responded.

Thank you for reading, and I have a question.

If you want to, you can tell me a good name for a "business" company, and I'll choose the ones I like the most, and I will use it for a future chapter.
