Part 38: Meeting the white fang and WHAT

Jaune POV:

"Cinder, why are you calling so early," I questioned groggily as I answered my scroll that had been ringing for the past thirty seconds now.

"Sorry to wake you so early jaune, but I have a business proposal which we can only talk about face to face," She responded as I sighed. It was currently seven in the morning, and I was not in the mood to talk business.

"Does it have to go on now or can it wait until later?" I asked her hoping it could be postponed but those thoughts were crushed when I heard her say no.

"Unfortunately not, we are on a tight schedule currently and if we can talk about this sooner than later is best," She responded as I sighed rubbing my face while trying not to wake up the twins or velvet sleeping next to me.

"Fine, I'll be there soon," I replied before hanging up and going away to take a shower.

It didn't take long until I pulled up to a warehouse where I spotted armed Faunus soldiers guarding getting the bodyguard I brought with me uncomfortably.

"You sure this is the right place sir?" One of them asked as I nodded since it was this warehouse cinder messaged me to meet at.

"Let's go inside," I said as we exited the SUV and the Faunus soldiers quickly looked at us before nodding towards the gate as it opened.

Inside the warehouse, we saw several armed white fang soldiers walk around with Cinder and her two companions along with a red-headed bull Faunus and Roman with neo.

"Ah Jaune, glad you made it and you brought company with you?" She said smiling at me while raising her eyebrow towards the suited bodyguards as I shrugged.

"You can never be too careful especially when in our line of work," I told her as Neo happily skipped up to me making me give her a couple of head pats.

"Good to see you Jaune, Neo here has been missing you," Roman said with a chuckle as he took a puff of his cigar while his mute companion harshly glared at him before smiling brightly at me.

"Nice to see you too and why are you here, thought I was only going to meet cinder and how do you two know each other?" I asked them as Cinder came up behind me snaking her arms around my neck as Neo glared at her in jealousy.

"Roman and I have known each other for a while now doing all sorta business and they are here also for the same reason as you, my dear knight," She said while biting my ear softly before walking back to her three companions with her hips swaying slightly.

"So what have you called all of us for?" A surprised roman asked not expecting that kind of behaviour from cinder out of all people.

"To help out with a certain thing the white fang needs help with, and since you are an ally to Jaune, I thought he could help, not free of course as we will compensate you for the trouble," Cinder explained as she had us follow her deeper inside the warehouse and towards a spacious office.

"What exactly does the white fang need help with exactly?" I asked since I wasn't sure if I wanted to get mixed in with dealing with terrorists even though some students back at beacon had already said I was one for merely coming in with a fake transcript.

"To steal something extraordinary," She said as she pulled out a picture of a military naval frigate. (an: Don't mix it up with an atlas airship as it's a naval frigate)

"That is a fucking military ship, we seriously stealing that?" Roman yelled out seeing the picture as the red-headed Faunus nodded with a grin on his face.

"What you scared humans and here I thought you were the best thieves around," The bull Faunus said mockingly as Roman took a puff of his cigar.

"There is a difference between moving around drugs, weapons and stealing dust between stealing a fucking military warship not that any of you animals would understand Adam," He responded to the now enraged Faunus as I backed away.
