part 33: Meeting La famiglia Grimm

Jaune POV:

After receiving a message from Cinder, who wanted me to meet someone very influential. I grew nervous and constantly walked back and forth in my clubhouse, attempting to calm my nerves, since if I fuck this up, I might end up killing my entire gang along with the twins and velvet.

"You alright, Jaune?" Velvet asked as she walked up to me with Ricky not far behind. She was wearing a beautiful black dress that held a secret knife and a pistol since cinder wanted me to dress nicely before meeting her boss. Ricky was also wearing a black suit with a white undershirt, black tie, black dress pants and fancy shoes. He also had two pistols stashed under his suit, in case of emergency just like velvet. They were both operating as my bodyguards.

I was wearing a black suit with, a black tie, black dress pants, black dress shoes, a black overcoat, black leather gloves and a pair of black shades with a pistol. All of our clothing was dust vowed and dustproof since I had spent a lot of money on this and didn't wanna end up dying.

"Yea, just nervous," I said as Velvet put her hands on my cheek, looking at my calmy.

"Calm down, you can do this okay," Velvet said with a smile before she pecked my cheek.

"Thank you, velvet, also Ricky inform the drivers and the rest of the team that we are going," I said as we walked out of my clubhouse and out towards a black convoy of black armoured SUVs. Each black SUV had a dustproof window, dustproof doors and dustproof tires.

Outside the clubhouse was the cars waiting, with several of my men standing close by guarding. Each of my men was dressed in similar outfits as Ricky and using pistols but had submachine guns stored in the cars.

As I approached the middle vehicle, a guard opened the door, and I walked in with two of my bodyguards and, we were off towards the meeting.

(an: for those who are wondering, the pistols are the MR6 from black ops 3 since I like the design of it. The submachine guns being the kuda also from black ops 3)

The drive there was very quiet since we didn't know what we were expecting. I could have just denied this invitation, yet cinder seemed adamant about this and told me that doing it would not end up well for anyone whatsoever. Which lead me to believe whoever I was meeting was an extremely powerful gang leader or a politician. Neither who I wanted to end up angering.

While the bigger gangs were at peace with everyone since war was just bad for business and we all had a common enemy, the police. Yet it served well not to try to piss off any major gangs. The primary threat was the smaller gangs who wanted to expand their turf and grow. Another enemy recently was the white fang trying to take control of the entire underworld even though they were unsuccessful at the moment.

The drive wasn't long, and we ended up driving towards the richer and more expensive area of Vale, where you could see several mansions and expensive cars. We ended up stopping in front of a large old mansion that had a fountain in the front porch where Cinder was waiting for me.

"Jaune, nice to see you again," Cinder said as I stepped outside with my bodyguards.

"Nice to see you too Cinder," I said with a slight smile as I shook her hand.

"I can see you brought company," She said as she gazed upon my escort standing at attention nearby.

"Well, you never know who might try anything, so I thought it was best If I got some protection since I didn't wanna come to the meeting injured," I said as we began walking towards the front doors.

"Yea, you can never be too careful, especially around rich people," She said as the doors opened by two of her guards.

The inside was luxurious with a set of stairs case in the middle of the room with a massive chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. Cinder led me up the stairs and towards a hallway decorated with antique equipment such as swords, shields even weapons from the great war.
