"Forth," said Phana.

Forth nodded his head to Phana and Kit while handing him the paper bag he was carrying. "Your orders."

"Well, thanks, Forth," Kit said brightly as he took the paper bag from Forth's hand and peeked inside.

Phana took a peek and held out his thumb to Forth. He nudged Kit's arm. "Come on, we have to give it to them as soon as possible."

Beam looked up, distracting from the book he was reading, as Phana and Kit packed their books. He tried to ignore Forth since his arrival, but his friends moved away from him instead.

"Hey, where are you guys going?" Beam said trying to hold Kit back.

"Our boyfriend is waiting, Beam," Kit replied coquettishly. "This is the couple t-shirt we order to Max for tomorrow. After all, there's already Forth who will accompany you."

"Bye, Beam, Forth, see you tomorrow afternoon," said Phana.

He patted Forth on the shoulder as he passed and Kit gave a bro fist encouraging Forth. Beam sighed and closed his book. Forth is sitting next to Beam.

"Baby, have you had lunch?" asked Forth.

Beam looked at Forth with a sigh. "Forth, what are you doing?"

"Huh?" Forth tilted his head with raised eyebrows. "Inviting you to lunch together? What do you want? Padthai or Tomyum?"

"I ...."

"Ah, it looks like bibimbap tastes better. Just a minute, I'll order it."

Beam rested his head on the table as Forth went to order food at the counter. Forth has been doing this for almost two weeks. He clung to Beam, not caring even if Beam ignored him.

Forth acted as if they had never broken up. The only difference is, Forth will go straight home after making sure Beam enters his room.

He just looked at Beam with a smile, saying "Have a good rest, Baby. I love you." then leave quietly.

"Baby, eat first," Forth said, stroking Beam's hair. He handed Beam a spoon and a bowl containing Beam's lunch.

"You still have class after this?"

Beam shook his head while chewing his food slowly.

"I still have class until three in the afternoon," Forth continued apologetically. "I... can't take you home."

"You weren't supposed to be driving me home, Forth," Beam said quietly. "Our relationship is different now. We're no longer lovers, just friends. You don't have to drive Lam or Park home, so you don't have to do it to me either."

Forth smiled sadly. "It's fine. I want to keep doing it until you find someone worthy of my replacement."

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"You may not love me anymore because of the mistakes I've done, but I will never stop loving you and I will do whatever is best for you as long as you are single. One day, you will definitely find someone else who deserves your love, and that's when I will stop clinging to you but my love won't stop."

Beam's eyes felt warm and his throat hot. A single tear fell onto the Forth table.

Forth quickly wiped the tears that pooled in his eyes and smiled. "Finish your food, Baby. I'll walk you to the parking lot when you're done and ready to go home."

"Forth, what do you want from me?" asked Beam quietly.

Forth looked at Beam. "No. I don't deserve anything from you. I just want you to be happy, safe, and well."

"Phana and Kit take good care of me," Beam said flatly. "I'm happy, safe and doing well."

"I know. I'm grateful that you have friends like them. However, I'm also your friend now, so, I can take care of you too."

Beam forgot that Forth had a stubborn nature. He said nothing more and packed his books. Forth followed Beam to his car in the parking lot and waited for Beam to get into the car.

"Are you going to the beach with Phana and Kit tomorrow? Have fun and take care of yourself, Baby."

"Thank you," Beam said flatly, then left in front of Forth.

Forth's tears ran freely down his cheeks as he watched Beam's car drift away.

His heart was beating so fast that it hurt. He was starting to feel pessimistic. Maybe Beam really doesn't love him anymore.

Phana said that Beam hates separation, but he hates lies more than anything. Beam builds a fortress so he doesn't feel pain when separated from someone or something he loves.

When Forth lies, it is a sign for Beam to return to his fort because he knows, he will be separated from Forth.

Forth sobbed hard. He really loves Beam.
