Beam let out a small groan when he felt someone climb onto his bed. Forth reached out his arm around Beam's body with his back to him.

"Forth?" whispered Beam in the dim light of the nightlight.

Forth nuzzled his face into Beam's neck, inhaling the sweet vanilla scent of the soft skin of Beam's neck. "Hmm?"

"What time is it?" asked Beam. He kept his eyes closed and squirmed a little when he felt Forth's small bite on his neck. "Where have you been?"

Beam could feel Forth's posture stiffen a bit. "I have to take care of something."

Beam didn't answer. Forth's arms loosened. Beam turned to face Forth. He looked at Forth's face that looked tired. "Have you had dinner?" asked Beam softly.

Forth reached out and stroked Beam's silky hair. "Already. You?"

Beam nodded. He looked like he wanted to say something but held it back. Beam came closer and kissed Forth's forehead gently. "Go to sleep. I have class this morning. I'll buy breakfast before leaving, so you can eat before you leave. Who knows you have class too or maybe you still have to take care of your things."

Forth looked at Beam and sighed. He kissed Beam's forehead, the tip of his nose, then his lips. He missed Beam so much. Forth kissed the corners of Beam's lips and tried to open Beam's lips with his tongue, but Beam laughed and lightly hit Forth's chest.

"Go to sleep, Forth. You're tired. Don't push yourself."

"Baby, I missed you," Forth whispered desperately.

Beam laughed again and turned his back to Forth. He took Forth's hand and wrapped it around his body. "I have a quiz. Go to sleep."

"Baby, are you mad at me?" whispered Forth into Beam's shoulder. The feeling was really uncomfortable. He was hugging Beam, but he felt Beam very far away.

Beam patted Forth's arm over his stomach. He tried to keep his voice normal, though his eyes and throat felt hot. "Me? Angry? For what? Did you do something to make me angry?"

Forth bit Beam's shoulder lightly. "No. I don't think so. You know, I always try to be honest with you. I love you, Baby."

"I know. However, can I ask you something?"

"Anything you want, baby."

"If at any time you feel bored with me or you feel that someone else is better and more worthy than me for you, just tell me the truth. Don't play behind my back, because the Poom I know is a great gentleman, not a coward and shameful one."

"Beam? What are you saying? I...."

"Ssh...sleep, Forth. I'm sleepy and I know you're tired too."

Forth froze in his position still hugging Beam from behind. Beam's words were very piercing and he felt his chest heat up. One more thing he realized just a moment ago, that Beam no longer calls him Poom. Beam just called him Forth.

The next morning when Forth woke up, he lost the warmth of Beam's body in his arms. Forth looked at the small clock on the nightstand. 8.28 o'clock. Forth lay straight on the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

He got up a few moments later and walked to the bathroom. He saw Beam's pajamas hanging on the caps behind the bathroom door.

Forth took the pajamas and inhales the soft and fragrant shirt. How he missed Beam and his warmth, but Beam was so different last night. He was so distant and cold.

Forth showered thoughtfully and when he finished showering and came out of the bathroom, he saw a box on the dining table. Breakfast for him and a piece of paper under the lunch box. "I'm off. Eat your breakfast, Forth, and don't forget to lock the door when you leave."

Forth ate his breakfast with a heavy heart. He opened the wardrobe after breakfast and looked for a clean shirt. His gaze lit up when he saw a small box in the corner of the cupboard.

He grabbed the box and looked at its contents. Beam's ring, which Forth gave when he asked Beam to be his boyfriend. Forth's heart sank, when he realized the ring on his finger wasn't there either.

Forth was still holding the ring box staring at his finger with no ring there,  when his phone rang. The LCD screen of his phone showed Kenny's name.
