Noa is having an extremely bad day.
It's a few days after the combat training, and the tensions between her, Bakugo, and Midoriya are slowly starting to fizzle out.
It starts off as a feeling, a weird tingling up her back, like someone's watching her, or something bad is gonna happen. Then, she's nearly trampled by information-hungry reporters, who just learned of All Might's involvement at UA. Then, she's trampled again after lunch, when she makes her way back down from the roof and an alarm goes off. She tried and failed to avoid the stampede.
So yes, she's had a very, very bad day (and it's only going to get worse).
Mineta, the short, purple-headed prick who Noa has quickly come to despise, sits next to her on the bus ride, smiling and wiggling his eyebrows when she glances down at him. She scoots away, pressing herself against the frame of the bus and sneering.
"Wow, you're like scarily skinny," He drools. "But you've got some nice thighs. Soft and pillowy."
He reaches out his hands to touch her, but doesnt have the chance to get close enough. Noa gags, and a snake coils around him until he's wrapped up and dangling from the bus ceiling. The conversation between Midoriya, Tsu, and the other students pause briefly, then continue. Noa tries to ignore them at first, but Tsu catches her attention as she looks quizzically at Midoriya.
"That power of yours, isn't it a lot like All Might's?"
It's an innocent question, she merely seems curious, but she's right. Midoriya's aware of this, nervously hurrying to dismiss the question in his awkward way. Noa simply shakes her head and looks out the window. He's being obvious, at this point. Kirishima points out that All Might's power doesn't hurt him, but that does nothing to change her mind. She's nearly certain there's something going on, she just has to figure out what.
Loud, shrill yelling from the loudest class member snaps her out of her thoughts and she clenches her jaw.
"You know, we basically just met you, so it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage." Denki teases, making Bakugo yell even more and even making Noa laugh a little. Bakugo whips around to her, baring his teeth.
"Something funny, snake eyes?"
She raises an eyebrow, smirking. "He forgot to say you act like a dog."
His face drops, mouth open in offense before screaming his head off as the group listening in laughs.
"He kinda looks like one too." Denki adds, smiling at Noa. She snickers, and Bakugo loses it, as does the rest of the group antagonizing him. He starts yelling various profanities and insults, most aimed at Noa and Denki, all while firecrackers go off in his palms.
