"Get away!" Midoriya yells at the villain before Shoto runs in and sends a huge wave of fire towards him.
Okay, Noa thinks as she watches the scene, perched on the edge of the nearest rooftop. What do we know about The Hero Killer: Stain?
He is largely motivated by a warped sense of justice- something more common for actual villains than small-time thugs. Society isn't black and white, especially when it comes to heroes. He sees that and runs with it, believing that most heroes are fakes, that they're only in it for the fame or the money (which may be just a little true). He wants to completely get rid of today's 'fake heroes' and worship All Might, the only true hero in his eyes. Which means he's fighting for a cause he actually believes in.
That makes him dangerous.
He can take out his opponents quickly and quietly, most likely a quirk to help with that, but there's not a lot of knowledge on it.
She squints at him from above, watching as he dodges Shotos fire. Which,by the way, holy shit, Shoto is using his fire. Noa tries her best not to look at the flames too long and let her eyes glaze over. Its almost hypnotic.
"Ugh. More people to get in my way." Stain grumbles as he dodges the attack and skids to a halt. "Todays been full of distractions."
Shoto ignores him and holds up his phone to Izuku, displaying the GPS signal.
"Midoriya, you need to give more details in times like this. I was almost too late to stop this guy."
"You too, Todoroki?" Iida asks, motionless on the ground and bleeding.
"How'd you get here?" Izuku says, also from the ground, his eyes flickering to Shotos right hand (which is currently engulfed in flames!!) "Hold on...you're using your left side?"
Noa's eyes narrow again from above. Why can't they move? None of them can, not Izuku or Iida or the other motionless body slumped against the wall.
"How'd I get here? Good question." Shoto says to Midoriya between fire blasts. "Your message took me a while to figure out. Next time try to send more than just your specific location."
His flames go out, and he crouches down, ice spreading from his foot toward the Hero Killer.
"But you're not really one to send cryptic messages without a reason, are you?"
The ice builds, sending Izuku, Iida, and the other injured guy (who Noa now recognizes as the pro hero Native), to the side, Stain flying the opposite direction.
