Chapter Fourteen

"Now this is what I like to see! Finally, you used that brain of yours!"

We zoom in to a white testing chamber, we see a machine? No, a humanoid which resembled a human skeleton but looked similar to a mannequin but made out of grey material, the head had a dog-like upper (that only covered the nostrils and the bottom part of the nose) and bottom jaw that was similar to the dog Cerberus from Greek mythology that mismatched the shape of the humanoid head, the fingers were replaced with dulled claws, the figure also had calculating blue eyes and with artificial ultramarine hair that was styled with an arch, making into two sides on the humanoid's forehead and had a small ponytail at the back, the hair also had one strip of white hair, the figure was wearing a black lab coat that was buttoned and with a white cargo pants and white shirt with a collar piece and had black work shoes, the figure also had a nametag on it's left upper pocket on the front of the lab coat that spelled: L.E.T.H.E, the figure also had a two security cameras that was attached to some flexible tube that connected to the figure's shoulders that had a colour scheme of black and blue, the figure also had a weird cylinder looking thing that had a green glow coming out of one end on its left hand.

"So, is this assembled?"

A boy at the age of 9 was seen at the opposite side of a table that the figure was standing, on the table was a mechanical skeleton of a sparrow, the figure chuckled before giving the boy who had green bushy hair and green eyes who was wearing a white lab coat fit for the boy's size a un impressed stare and then used the cylinder thing to completely dismantle, not destroy, the bird skeleton and reassembled it all in mid air with the tube and then pulled out a sphere looking device and inserted inside the bird similar to a heart and then as the bird was finished, the bird came to life and flew and perched into .

"You just stuck to the rules and didn't ask me for anything else, you just used the items that were provided and didn't think outside the box... that can get you killed."

"Oh..."

"But at least you managed to assemble it just by looking at me doing it and in just a few times as well, now follow me."

The figure then did a hand scan at a panel and the circular door opened and the boy followed the figure who went inside an elevator and the boy did as well, the elevator then played music in the background and went down.

"You know... when your father asked me to teach you about tech and stuff, you were just an idiot who had big dreams, but you learn surprisingly fast, even though you never actually get the gist until I point it out... you remind me of a chimera I used to know..."

The boy just kept staring ashamedly down to his feet until the elevator door opened and the figure walked which the boy followed in suit, the two walked through halls which were filled with huge test tubes that seemed to be designed to fit humans in the tubes, there was nothing in them and then after a few minutes of walking the man stopped at an opening to a room and in the middle of the back of the room was a bigger tube than the others and it was filled with blue liquid and a body was inside, the body seemed like a man who was aged 23 which had black long hair and had many tubes that connected to the man's back and some that were holding the man in place the man was only wearing baggy white clothes and seemed to be sleeping with eyes closed, the man also had blue markings all over the body, the giant test tube that had many wires and pipes that connect to several machinery and then the figure approached one of the machineries and began to tamper with it for a few seconds before approaching the boy.

"You see him, if you can't undo what I did in a few minutes, the tube will explode and he will die, now go..."

The kid then started to panic for a split second but then calmed down and rushed into the control panel that the figure tampered with and analysed it quickly before looking to the other control panels scattered across the room before looking at the celling and then the floor, the kid then rushed to several control panels before he stared at the figure.
