Chapter Twenty Three

"Yoshinaga, what would you ever need these for?"

"It helps me when I'm in a mood."

"Downing high quantity grams of sugar? Really?"

"I like sweet things."

The five divine flames, which consisted of Yoshinaga, Uyemura, Sanda, Funai, and Tagawa were in their regular civilian clothes and Yoshinaga still wore his trademark jacket and pants, while Tagawa instead of a grey-black humanoid looking person was a black long haired man with black eyes who wore baggy black T-shirt and long white cargo pants with an unbuttoned white shirt (not a T-Shirt, the one that has buttons and is regularly under a vest), his hair was at a length that reached his back and seemed messy and wasn't being cared, all of them were at a supermarket and was currently at the cereal isle and they seemed to be at the age of 23, 21, 22, 24, and 26 respectively.

"You know that Izuku-kun is not going to approve of that!"

"He is a hypocrite, the Allmight theme cereal has just much sugar as what I am grabbing!"

"At least that one isn't a straight up sugar in a box!"

"We might want to be quiet here."

"You all are literally grown-up children."

"Aren't we all?"

"Funai is the only sensible person around here."

"And yet he still argues about simple personal things."

"It's because I care!"

Five of them were on a shopping day as their leader, Hisashi Midoriya had some business with another Yakuza clan and Inko Midoriya was taking care of 7-year-old Izuku who was just having mother and son bonding time, so what did the five man-children decided to do? Since they saw the Dragon's Den devoid of any food supplies, Uyemura suggested they went to get groceries and that was the thing that led them to this argument.

"*Sigh, can we just finish our little shopping run?"

"Fine, but we are going to have a talk about your daily sugar consumption Yoshinaga."

"Says the person who order donuts on a daily basis."

"You have no evidence of that!"

"I do, I collected every single payment information both physically and digitally."

"I hate you all."

"Hate is a strong word Funai."

They had filled two shopping carts full of groceries and Yoshinaga was pushing them both while using his quirk secretly to maintain a straight line where the carts are going, Sanda was currently looking through her wallet as the five approached the cashier, and as they were done paying, Funai's phone rang which Funai picked it up.

"Hello, Funai speaking... oh hi Midoriya-san... erhm we just finished shopping, for the base supplies I meant... what?... you need a what?... sure, don't worry, I'm sure we can figure something out... yeah see you soon."

"What was that Funai?"

"The boss, says that he needed something."

"Is it limited Allmight merch that is just down the street?"

"Yes, how do you know?"

"Just look at the poster there."

And true to Sanda's J.S.L., there was a huge poster that was attached to a glass pane of one of the stores which had a pretty long waiting line which made the five sweat-dropped, Tagawa just cleared his throat alerting the others.
