Chapter Seventeen

"Hey... Yoshinaga-kun... are you okay?"

"*Coughs blood, don't worry Yamashita-chan, it's not a big *coughs blood, deal."

Yoshinaga who was wearing white T-shirt and long black pants, the T-shirt had the number 59-NW, he was couching and had small traces of blood dripping from his mouth and he looks more at the age of 18, he had a few wounds all over himself and was being treated first aid by a girl at the age of 18 who had beautiful bright brown eyes, with hair that was styled in a way that separated by the ear, the back part was long and reached her waist while the front was side swept to the left and the side had the length until her shoulders, she was wearing a similar white T-shirt with a different number which was 59-EV and similar long black pants.

"You're hurt, and that is a big deal Yoshi-kun... I don't like seeing you getting hurt..."

The teenage girl was putting bandages over the wounds on Yoshinaga's shoulders, arms, legs, and hands, they seemed to be burns and cuts, after the girl was done finishing the first-aid she then smacked Yoshinaga's left check.

"YOU IDIOT! WHY WOULD YOU EVERY THINK OF DOING THAT!?"

"Ouch, in my defence... I was just trying to---"

Yoshinaga couldn't finish his sentence when he was hugged tightly by the girl identified as 'Yamashita' and was sobbing lightly, Yoshinaga was a bit surprised at this sudden touch, internally he was freaking out.

'OH MY GOSH! YAMASHITA WHAT IS IN YOUR HEAD!?'

"I don't want to lose you..."

Yamashita spoke in a low and quiet voice, she stopped sobbing and looked up toward Yoshinaga who was surprised as well, he just knew a few things such as one: he was sold, second: he didn't know who are his parents, third: he couldn't trust anyone here, he was here for about 1 year and has been betrayed twice and it hurt more than he ever could describe.

"I... I don't... I can't lose you... you may not know but... I... I don't like seeing you get hurt..."

"*Scoffs, why do you care? You know that we are going to die sooner or later..."

"Then why are you trying so hard to escape then?"

Yoshinaga stayed silent, as he wondered he also was questioning himself... he wanted to see the outside world once more... he wanted to be free of this pain... no... he wanted to remember... he wants to find answers... to everything.

"I want to find... answers... I don't remember anything at all... I wish to understand... why all of this is happening..."

"Then you won't be alone."

"What?"

Yoshinaga was shocked by the answer coming from Yamashita, he knew that he had some feelings for her but pushed it away since he didn't want his internal self to be conflicted with his teenager hormones, he tried looking for any signs of lies in the face of his roommate but found nothing except for genuine concern.

"What do you mean that I won't be alone?"

"I'll help you... I'm also... tired of... feeling pain... I want to escape, and if you are too, then let's do it together."

Yoshinaga was still deep in thought as he considered every outcome having her in his escape attempts, but was cut off by the voice over the P.A. system from the speaker on the top left of the room which was a simple white solitary confinement room with 5 beds and nothing else.
