Chapter Thirty Seven

"Why in the world can't I catch a BREAK!?"

Hitoshi ignored the confused stares from the panicking civilians as he was running across as a bunch of monsters relentlessly attacked the city, with several pro heroes trying to re-establish order and peace around him, Hitoshi though was running to help people by wrapping some with his scarf to move them away from attacks from the monsters or debris.

One second, I was with Monty trying to learn about adopting and child care, now I am fighting a bunch of monsters, helping people.

Hitoshi jumped to shield a citizen, as he did, he barrel roll to save the kid, Hitoshi saw a huge flying weird thing hovering above him which seemed to be preying on him, Hitoshi's eyes widen as the monster dived down, Hitoshi almost didn't manage to dodge it in time but he did, and saw a huge splat of mass where the monster dived down to.

What the heck?

Hitoshi was snapped out of his disbelieve stupor by the mass reforming and charging straight at Hitoshi, Hitoshi knew he didn't have time to dodge so he shielded the civilian with his back as he closed his eyes, waiting for impact, but as the screeching of the monster came to a halt, he peeked to see Rockin' Gator there with his hero costume which was some sort of armour, grabbing the monsters head with his hands.

"Stay away, FROM MY INTERN!"

Monty threw the monster into the sky as if it was some sort of weight and he was an Olympics participant, Hitoshi watched in awe as the monster was sent flung into air and saw that Monty was facing him, Hitoshi got back to work and began comforting the civilian as he heard police sirens coming.

"You did well kid, for a first timer as well."

"Thanks Monty-san."

"Now let's leave the rest to the pros."

Monty escorted the civilian to the police as Hitoshi was waiting behind him, he was interrupted by a ping from his phone and saw a message incoming, and surprisingly, it was from Todoroki.

Oh, that's right, I promised to him that I would help him with his, daddy issues, let's see? Oh shit

What instead was a message, was a pinged location with a message: help, Hitoshi wasted no time and scaled a nearby rooftop and synced his phone to Monty's earpiece, Hitoshi was racing through the roofs, dodging every attack while also trying to help civilians on the way by his capture scarf.

"Kid, where are you going?"

"Sorry Monty-san, but my friend is in trouble! I have to save him!"

"Alright then kid, just remember, I hereby pro hero Rockin' Gator allow my intern, the aspiring hero Kage, to use his quirk in public, now go and help your friend little man, I'll be arriving there shortly."

Hitoshi had a serious face on now as he was rushing to the location sent to him by Todoroki, he saw another flying monster seemingly headed to the same destination as his, Hitoshi used his capture scarf to lasso it's tail and he swung tarczan style from a huge gap from building to another building, the monster couldn't handle Hitoshi's added weight and came barrel rolling down to the pavement followed by Hitoshi who landed on top of it and snapping it's neck by doing a stomp.

Maybe that was a bit overkill.

Hitoshi jumped of the dead monster body and ran to the pinged destination, he pulled up his phone and saw he was nearing the place, he slid to the alleyway mid run and as he entered, he smelled a certain scent.

Blood.

Hitoshi wasted no time as he tried to conceal himself with the shadows as he made sure he was hidden, as he made his way in, he saw Iida laying on a side of a wall who had a scissor stabbed into his calf, Hitoshi also saw Todoroki using just his ice to fend of a girl whose left eye had a Sakura flower and with pink irises, had a weird black arm with pink glowing strikes, Hitoshi saw the long and straight in a ponytail silver hair flowing as her acrobatics skills dodge every blast of ice Todoroki sent.
