Chapter Twenty Nine

Anonymus here! So yes, this chapter was a day late, sorry about the inconveniences, anyways, a quick summary: Ochako kicks some discriminating butt, Funai's past, and also the calvary battle prequel, anyways see you all at the bottom! :)

"*Pants, IS THIS THE BEST YOU'VE GOT?"

Tadao Funai aged-17 or so was seen in the ring of an underground fighting stadium, which screamed illegal in every where as the crowd was roaring with cheers, Funai was in the ring with another contestant which was twice as large himself but was on the floor unconscious, laying as Funai was wearing a huge grin while his messy white hair which was as long until his shoulder and seemed uncared as he wore ragged clothes and had cloth covering his hands to act as gloves.

"THE FOG STILL STAYS ON TOP!! WHO WILL BE OUR NEXT CHALLENGER?"

"I will."

As Funai looked over to see a man, about as tall as him and aged at least 20 or above, in a well dress suit and wore a black phantom mask with an emblem of a dragon on his palm, with messy curly black hair the challenger slowly walked towards the ring and as he entered the crowd got wild as Funai prepared himself.

"ALRIGHTY! DEFIER OF THE FOG STATE YOUR NAME!!"

"...... Dragon."

"DRAGON THEN! NOW WHAT BET YOU HAVE TO MAKE IF YOU WIN!!!"

Funai was pretty sure that it would end up with money or something and gritted his teeth as he prepared to strike the moment the battle began but he remembered that he also had to give a condition to the other party, mostly he uses it to fill his daily needs, but what came from the mouth of the man was.

"I want Fog, to be under my rule."

A series of laughter came out of the entire place but Funai saw the man who claimed to be Dragon didn't flinch one bit, which made Funai for the first time, warry, because either this man is a dumb person (which based on experiences no) or he is that confident in his ability to take down him.

'Like hell am I going to submit to some stranger.'

"---A BOLD DECLARATION INDEED! NOW LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE!!!!!!!!"

As the crowd erupted once more into shouts Funai wasted no time and made distance as he prepared some mild paralyzing gas in his mouth and as he saw the man who didn't move one inch, Funai took the chance as he rushed an attempt to punch the man but he ducked and did a round kick at Funai who barely dodged as well, Funai was taken aback from the fast movement but his focus was locked on the man's face which was so close to his.

'A chance!'

Funai released all of his breath which contained paralytic properties at the man and quickly made distance but what surprised his was the huge blast of fire which burst from the man's mouth and pushed away all of his breath, Funai prepared another altered gas in his mouth, this time it was a mild toxic one and began to assault the man with several attacks again

Now, Funai wasn't a person to depend on your quirk all the time, he knew that this mystery competitor will be better beaten by a well-planned ambush kill than a huge smoke screen as fire plus smoke isn't something that Funai was eager to see, considering he isn't immune to his own gas, so Funai rushed straight to do another punch at the man who tried to catch it with his right hand but Funai faked his first target, the man's head and now aimed at the man's chest area, Dragon blew another breath of fire at Funai again but this time it was blocked by a carbon dioxide gust of gas which extinguished the fire.
