~ Epilogue ~

I woke up, my head throbbing and painful. "Sunstreaker..." Ratchet pushed me down. "Where's Sunny?" I scanned the room. "Where's he?" He whispered. "We don't know... Sunstreaker has vanished in thin air, wait here." He walked off and Optimus walked in some time later. "We need to find him..." Optimus raised his hand to silence me and shut the door. "Where is he? Is he okay... We need to find him." Optimus pushed me back down against the mattress. "I know you have a lot of questions... that's why I am here. Listen, remember when I was gone for a couple of days?" he asked. I nodded, "I realized I had made a terrible mistake... I needed a few days to talk to Primus, he helped me to get Sunstreaker back online. Along with some humans, we got him off the bottom of the ocean and I used the matrix to reboot his systems." 

"I spoke to Sunstreaker about the plan and what was going on. He was obviously furious and wanted to visit you, but I told him I needed his expertise as front liner and fight by my side. We eventually decided to give the Decepticons a surprise attack, Sunstreaker is my best front liner and I trusted him to obey my orders. He did and obviously saved you. I couldn't tell you because it would be obvious to Dreadraid. He would smell something was off. I don't know where Sunstreaker is right now or what he has been planning. Before the battle started, we had contact but after that, Sunstreaker vanished in thin air. He did however leave you this note." He grabbed a folded piece of paper and handed it over to me. I took it from him. "Sunstreaker will come back, I have faith in him and that he will make the right decisions. I am sorry for all the pain I have caused you." 

"It's okay... I forgive you," I mumbled. He gave a small nod and embraced me. "Whiplash told me something..." Prime turned around. "You had a sparkmate and sparkling that were murdered during the war, isn't it?" I asked. He gave a small nod. "Do you know who killed them?" I asked. "No, the killer was never caught for his actions," he said. "You think the attacker is still out there somewhere?" I asked. "I am not sure yet... perhaps, perhaps not, why do you ask?" he questioned. "I don't know... just curious about it," I mumbled. "If the killer is still out there... I will hunt him down personally," he replied calmly. "To do what? Kill the killer?" I asked. "Despite my grief... I am not someone to take vengeances... but he'll get a proper punishment," he said. I sucked in a breath. "I have to go." Prime left me alone with the note. 

So many questions crossed my mind. Why did Sunstreaker kill Optimus's sparkmate and sparkling? It has to be the big secret he was talking about in his journal and all the stuff that's going on with Dreadraid. Hopefully Sunstreaker caught him but if he did, Sunstreaker would have returned already. I unfolded the note;

Dear Skylar, 

I know you probably have a lot of questions. I wish I could answer them for you but I think you have to wait for a bit. I won't be returning to the base until I have fixed what I have broken and killed my half brother, Dreadraid. There are things you don't understand and I know how supportive you have been but this is something I have to do on my own. It doesn't mean I will abound you. I can't abound you. 
I hope you understand and don't be too upset about it. Please, don't come after me. It's too dangerous for you and if something bad would happen to you, I would never forgive myself. I have trust in Optimus that he'll tell you what happened to me and what he did. You used to tell me that I am not a monster but the thing is; I am a monster for obvious reasons and I have made a horrible mistake. Perhaps I deserved to die. 
You never know the value of something until you lost it  and I realized how valuable you are to me.  All I can think about is how lucky I am you changed my life for the better good and I'll be forever grateful. I am going to stop writing this sentimental shit, I suck at it anyway. You might think the battle is over but for me... the battle has just began...
