Sam, Krisite and I left London to meet Steph at her beach house for a week. I was excited to get out of England and enjoy the sunshine in Newport, but it was going to feel weird without Jill. I had asked Lisa to talk to Viv to see how Jill was going post break up.

When I told Lisa we broke up, she was gutted but when I told her why, she understood. I think most people did. It was a hard thing to tell people, especially the Arsenal girls. They all knew how perfect we were together, so seeing the shock on their faces made me wonder if I did the right thing. I called Lisa, after we arrived in Newport.
"How is she?" I said into the phone, in reference to Jill.
"Viv said she is okay. She has settled into her place in Wolfsburg and starts training in a couple of days." I nodded my head.
"Okay, thanks Lis."

After I finished talking to Lisa, Kristie came into my room.
"Let's go for a swim," she said and I smiled and went to put on some bathers. I hadn't always been confident in my body but recently, I had started to appreciate everything it does for me. So, when I looked into the mirror, I felt content with myself, and who I am. Obviously, I still have my scars which are forever imprinted on my arms, but I've recently learnt to recognise them as my journey, no longer my problems.

In terms of figure, I have always had to be strong and fit because of soccer. The constant sport, when I was younger, meant that I developed later. I didn't have my first period till I was 16 and I still have a flat chest. Due to the heavy lifting in the gym, I have developed very strong and slender legs, something that Sam is jealous because hers have always been her biggest insecurity.

"Why do you guys have the nicest fucking legs?" she said, as Kristie and I came out to the pool in which she was already in.
"Your legs are gorgeous babe," Kristie said, sitting on the edge of the pool. Sam went over to wear Kristie was sitting and wrapped her arms around Kristie's waist. Kristie leant down and kissed her on the lips. I know they aren't trying to rub anything in my face, but it is still hard seeing how happy they are.

Steph didn't arrive at the beach house till the following day, and once she arrived, it was party central. We got drunk nearly every night and threw huge beach parties. I went a little crazy, drinking till I couldn't feel my emotions nearly. I needed to be free, and let loose.
At one of the parties, I was sitting with Steph on the couch while Kristie and Sam were in charge of the drinks.
"You need to have fun!" She said. Steph and I, because of Kristie, have always been friends. She is one of those people you can have a good time with, but not a serious time. She never knew of my issues because we never really talked about those things.
"I don't know, Steph."
"Look over there," she said, pointing towards a guy at pool, with a beer in his hand. "He's cute."
"I guess," I said back to her. I hadn't hooked up with a guy since I was in Houston. "But I'm not doing that Steph."
"Okay," she replied, "want a girl?" I laughed at this, and shook my head.
"All I want to do," I said while sipping more of my beer, "Is drink till I pass out." With that, we blinked beers and kept drinking.

Steph soon left me on the couch and went over to her girlfriend Erin. Erin, who surprisingly enough isn't a soccer player, arrived at the beach house after Steph. They are really cute together and I love how they work and flow.

Soon after, the guy that Steph pointed towards came over and sat next to me.
"Hi," he said to me, sitting a bit too close.
"Hey," I replied, sliding over, not wanting for him to get the wrong idea.
"I'm James," he said to me.
"India," I replied. I tried being blunt but not rude.
"So, India," he said to me, moving close again, "tell me about yourself."
"Um, what do you want to know?"
"Well, where's your cute accent from?"
"I'm Australian." He smiled at this, and called over his friends.
"Guys, we got an Aussie here!" A group of five other guys came over and surrounded me, on the couch. I started to get nervous. I didn't like this. I didn't like this.
