Mondays here and it's first period which means morning announcements should be coming on any minute.

I'm sitting next to Arlo and Kate and Kate can't help but ask, "What are you two planning?"

"What?" We both ask, oblivious.

"You two are smiling nonstop which means you're either dating, or planning something." She exposes.

"Fine. We found a way to expose Ashley and it's about to happen right now." I whisper, tattling on myself and Arlo, too excited to keep it in.

“You what?!” Kate gulped, whispering back.

She was never really fond of our plans. I guess she has her reasons.

I was going to say something but morning announcements were coming on. I was too excited for this moment. I knew what I had to say to Kate could wait.

“Good morning, Raptors!” a kid from the student body said, reading the script, “Happy monday and welcome to another fresh week of school news!” he introduced.

“This school news will be fresh alright.” Arlo jokes.

I laugh and nudge his shoulder while giggling with him. I look over to Kate to see her looking nonchalantly at us.

‘Party pooper’ i mouth to her as she gives me a small smile which i return to her. Quickly looking back at the televised screen shown in the front of the class.

“This week's news is.. Oh? This is news to me as well. The screen is showing emails of Ashley Yale and her fathers emails, bribing teachers and principal garner for high grades to.. ‘make it into Harvard.’? This isn't in the script what-?” the kid called to the others, all now talking at once, questioning the situation.

Everyone as well as the teachers are shocked. Arlo and I fist bump each other under the table unnoticed, trying to make ourselves less obvious as instigators.

Principal Garner comes on screen and speaks to the camera, “I want people investigating who did this! No one leaves without being tested!” fuming with embarrassment and anger, Mr. Garner finishes.

Arlo and I look at each other, worried. This is not how I thought this was going to go.

Class ended early and we were all told to wait until we were called out to line up outside the classroom. We waited around 20 minutes before the teacher got a phone call that principal Garner was on his way. My stomach grew tighter and tighter making it feel like i had a knot in my stomach.

I was so nervous, even Arlo noticed, “Hey, don't worry. I took care of the footage. It's deleted. They have no idea it was us.” he whispered to my ear.

Pulling away, he gave me a smile to comfort me. I nodded, signaling that i understood that i had nothing to worry about. But, i did.

While we were preparing to walk outside, I couldn't help but wonder what ‘tested’ meant.

"Okay! This is how it's going to go! When your teacher and I walk by, you're going to stick your hand out. We are going to scan it and if your finger print doesn't match, you're set. If not, prepare for the consequences." Principal Garner warns.

My history teacher starts at the right end and the principal starts by Arlo, in the left part of the line.

Arlo and I exchanged worried glances, knowing we had more of a chance of getting caught then being unnoticed.

I was two people away from being up but Arlo had already hit rock bottom.

"I got a kid! What's your name son? Arlo? Arlo what? Reed? Arlo Reed is the culprit!" Principal Garner yells, pulling Arlo out of line and beside him.

By the time that happened it was my turn. Knowing that there was no way out, I stuck my finger out, looking away. After waiting for the confirmation, I looked back just in time for the DING noise.

"Got another suspect! Olivia Stammer!" Mr. Romero calls out to Garner.

"Wowww! This is how you're going out with your third strike? I'm impressed you got it this far! What you two did was completely unacceptable!! How dare you two install a flash drive full of another person's private information?" principal Garner lectures and taunts, "Lets go. I'm taking you two to your new punishment place."
