We arrived at the MCF and I quickly jumped out of the car. Visiting hours were over which meant no getting in unless you work there. I started pacing back and forth, trying to think of a way in when I heard a car engine. Natalia pulled up next to me and quickly jumped out.

"Terence! I got your text." She said, walking towards him and him giving her a big hug.

They pulled away and smiled at each other and then she started walking towards me.

"I'm going to find Arlo. I'll be right back." She informs me.

You can see her walk into MCF and through the glass door, you can see her heading towards the back of the area where we stayed.

"You think he's in there?" Terence asked, walking up beside me, looking down to me as I just stared at the door. Waiting to see the face I've been dying to see for the past three days.

"I really hope so, Terence."

After waiting for about five minutes and pacing around the front area a couple million times, I heard the door swing open. I turned around to see Natalia opening the door. I stood confused waiting for something to happen. I then realized she was holding the door for someone, for Arlo.

Arlo walked out of MCF in his normal outfit, his under eyes dark from lack of sleep and his black curly hair curlier and frizzier than ever. I felt relieved and happy as I dropped my dad's car keys and ran towards my no longer missing best friend. We didn't even say a word to each other, just hugged. We eventually ended up on the cement but we didn't care, we just needed each others presence

"Olivia, oh my god. Where were you? i woke up in total blackness and then next thing i know i'm back in this dump without you it was a nightmare!" He rants.

"Arlo, I'm so happy you're here!" I laugh, pushing his messy hair out of his face.

"What- I've been here the whole time." He furrowed his eyebrows.

"Yeah but you disappeared- you know what, i'll tell you at dinner." I smile.

The five of us sat down at my dinner table eating dinner. My dad had invited Terence who invited Nat. Arlo was always invited because he's practically family at this point. It had been a long time since my dad was home in time for dinner or even made dinner but i had to say, the food was delicious. We told Arlo and Nat too what had happened and for that matter she understood why I was gone.

"Wow Liv, I didn't know you were that special!" Arlo jokes.

I flick my pea and his face and he pretends to die, "Ugh, player 1 DEEEfeated! Feated. feated." He echoed.

We all laughed at him as we finished our food. After we finished dinner we were getting ready to drop Arlo off. I went to tell my dad I'll be right back but he stopped me before I left.

"I'm so proud of you, Olivia. And I'm sorry I haven't been around. I just want the best for you but money kills and I gotta work to help you out. I hope you know that I love you." He finishes, a tear running down his cheek but giving me a soft smile.

"I know you've been trying your hardest, dad. And I'm sorry for not doing my part in that too. But the past is the past and all that matters is that you're home now." I comfort him, giving him a hug.

"I got to take Arlo home but we can talk when I get back okay?" I inform, pulling away from the hug.

"Okay." He murmured as he watched me walk away.

"Love you!"

"Love you too, Daughter."
