"What was that about?" I asked.

We were now in my very own office and i was working on a visual plan to show Terence how i could fix it.

"Carson and I used to be together but we split after i got this job offer because i had to leave and i wasn't telling her why. A few months later after i became the boss, she and her brother started working here. I became her boss and well, you can tell why Collin hates me." He explained while i was still sketching the plan.

"Wow, you have a fulfilling life I guess." i joke, finishing up the sketch.

He let out a chuckle and sat down by me.

"You finished?" He asked, pointing at my paper.

I nodded and explained the plan, "The green wire is bent so i was just thinking we just unbend it so that the electrical power can flow through easily. Then, the silver cord is like, decomposing it's outer layer so i was thinking we could like seal it with a strong base of glue or something to put together so it would stay as one. And the tangled ones could just be untangled."

"Sounds like a plan. Let me bring a holographic copy so we can see if it works." He concluded, getting up to open a cabinet full of little hexagons. He tossed it right at my face and it opened up to show a copy of what the capsule looked like at this moment. I flinched when he threw it but I was amazed by what I just saw happen in front of my very own eyes.

He motioned me to use my plan to fix it and I obliged. I used the techniques of my plan to correct the wires. I put a coat of strong glue onto the silver wire and it worked. I smiled, feeling accomplished that i was actually doing it. I then moved onto the green wire, unbending it. That was easy. Lastly, i looked at the tangled blue, yellow, black and purple wires. I paid close attention on how to untangle them and when i found a way i started right on it. It was going great until the green wire that i just fixed, bent again. Keeping the wires i were working on prior in my hands, i make my way back to the green wire and tried to unbend it when i heard a SNAP. The tangled wires had ripped and the hologram disappeared. It didn't work. I held my head down in defeat.

"I thought I had it." I frown.

"You did have it. Maybe, you just need to tweak a few things, restart and make a new one." Terence encouraged me, giving me a smile of hope.

I picked my head up feeling motivated. I smile back at him and pick up the pencil again. Starting fresh, i thought of a new plan.

"If the green cant stay unbent for the whole time, i can put something there to keep it from bending again. Like a circular mold! Then, we should just replace the silver wire and not chance it deteriorating more. If i do all of that, i should have the time to untangle the black, yellow, purple, and blue wires!"

Terence just smiles at me. I felt proud of myself and i'm sure he did too. He went up to the cabinet to get another hexagon and threw it my way. This time, i didn't flinch. I was so ready, when it opened up, i went straight to work. I put a mold around the green wire. Worked. Then i replaced the silver wire with an entirely new one. Worked. I then started working on the tangled ones. It was again going good until i hit an obstacle, they weren't just tangled, they were tied. I couldn't cut them because it would fail again. I tried to take my time untangling the wires but one eventually snapped. I had failed yet again. I had never felt so worthless in my life. I had just lost my best friend, now i'm losing my life.

My head fell into my hands as i felt a lump in my throat. I pulled my knees up and broke down. I sobbed into my hands as Terence fell to his knees right besides me.

"Hey, hey, it's okay, Olivia. I know this one didn't work but i'm sure you will get the next plan to work." He comforted me, rubbing my back with his hand.

"No you don't get it! Every single plan i've ever had, failed. Why do you think i ended up in a Minors Correctional Facility? The plan didn't work then and it's not going to work now! I let Arlo down and now i'm letting the world down. I'm useless." I rant.

Terences face went into a frown, "You know why I came for you? Because you do have it in you. We didn't just choose you because you're a trouble maker. We chose you because we know you can save everyone. You just need to stop doubting yourself. Stop thinking about the past fails. Think about the future succsesses. The victories you can have if you just believe in yourself. I know you can do it. Now you should too. Make it happen. Be a hero." He concluded.

I looked up once again, hands out of my head and gave Terence a 'thank you' smile. He smiles back and engoulfs her into a hug.

"You ready to do this?" He asks pulling away.

"Lets save the world." I answer.

We both smile ready to try again, until we heard a big BOOM. We face each other with confused and worried looks as we get up and head to the door.
