Chapter Sixteen

Clarissa's POV:

After dropping Vic off at the hospital, I drive back to the company. I park my car in the parking and instead of going to my floor, I walk through the main lobby checking what everyone is doing.

There's a new receptionist there, she looks nice which is good. Everyone is doing their work, great.

Carol was walking next to me which made everyone look at us confused. I ignored them and went to the elevator pressing the button to my floor.

When we get there, I step out and tell Carol to follow me to my office. I open the door and put my things in place and then walk and sit on my chair.

"I need you to send the employees who we decided to fire to my office but don't tell them anything. Did you write their details on the list?" I asked and she nodded, "Yeah, the list is on your desk, I'll call them," she said walking out.

I opened my laptop getting the hacking ready. I'm not that heartless, I'm doing this because I wanna know if they need money so I can help them get new jobs or even stay working here. I know some of them might lie about their families so hacking in their information is the best idea and since I'm a pro in hacking it's fast doing that. Some of them might need this job so I'm trying to give them a chance before I do anything.

Five minutes through looking at their names and hacking, everything I needed was in front of me. I heard a knock and "come in" I said. Carol walked in, she was about to say something when my phone rang, I took it out and Matteo is calling.

Clarissa: What's up?

Matteo: We're in the lobby.

Clarissa: Why are you here sp early? I thought we said I'd call you when I finish working.

Matteo: Nothing important, we were bored at school so we ditched and we're here.

I facepalmed myself and sighed at their carelessness.

Clarissa: Alright, come up to the twentieth floor, I'll let the receptionist know.

I call the receptionist on the office phone and inform her to let my brothers in. I look up at Carol, "You were gonna say something," I said and she nodded. "Yes Clarissa, they're all waiting outside," she said and I nodded.

"Alright, get my brothers in here first and you're staying here while I talk to the workers," I said smiling and she nodded and smiled. The door suddenly opened and my dear brothers barged in as if they own the place. Lucas ran and hugged me, while the others pushed him off and hugged me.

"Get off me, idiots," I said pushing them laughing, Lucas and Marco pouted while Matteo scowled.

"We came to spend time with our only sister and you push us off," Lucas gasps dramatically.

"Ugh, fine, I missed you, are you happy?" I said and they grinned making me shake my head.

"What are you working on right now?" Marco asked seeing my laptop screen. I smirked "I have workers who I'm thinking about firing but I don't want them to end up on the streets so I'm interviewing each one of them to see who I should keep, fire, or help them find another job," I said and they smirked.

"I honestly don't know if that's nice or evil," Lucas said making us laugh. I sigh "Alright Carol, who's first?" I asked, the boys all snapped their heads towards her and Matteo smirked, I shook my head. "Don't even think about it," I said pinching his arm hard. He groaned.

Carol told me the first workers name and I looked it up on my computer, I told Carol to let her in.

The boys were sitting on the couch watching 'the show' as Lucas referred to. A lady walked in behind Carol and I gestured for her to sit on the chair in front of my desk.
