Three Months Later

Clarissa's POV:

It's been three months since I gave birth and life has never been better, I think?

My babies have gotten bigger and they are the most beautiful babies ever. I love them with my whole heart.

I have started going to work but not every day, I go two or three days a week, I take my kids with me or if I have important meetings I leave them at mom's or aunty Ana's.

My relationship with Eduardo has been kinda rocky? we don't really see each other a lot, he started going to work again and I would barely see him. I don't know where he goes after work. I tried talking to him but he'd just smile and kiss me avoiding the whole topic.

I don't really say anything after that not wanting to push him. I trust Eduardo and I know he has a good reason for doing this.

We still meet up with the family every Friday, our family is still as connected as ever, I love each one of them so much.

Today is Monday and I'm going to work with the kids. After getting dressed along with the kids, I put them in their car seats and go to my car.

I got a new car since the other one isn't as good for kids, I got a range rover and put protection on it just like my last car.

I park my car and step out, I go to the backseat and take the car seats out then walk inside, I smiled at all my employees and they returned it.

I walk to my office after hearing the ding of the elevator. I take the kids out of the car seats and put them in their swinging chairs.

I bought them some stuff and put them in the office just for times like this.

I grab their chairs and put them next to me, I kiss their heads and sit on my chair and start working on the files in front of me.

Carol quit and started working with her dad, their gang is becoming one of the highest gangs in the underground world.

I hired a new assistant, she's nice and knows how to do her job so I'm not struggling.

"Come in," I said when I heard a knock. Lilian, the new assistant walked in and I smiled at her.

"Good morning, Clarissa," she said smiling. "Good morning," I said.

"Mr Smith's assistant called and wanted to have the meeting in twenty minutes," she said and I frowned.

"Why's that?" I asked, "they have some emergency tomorrow and they can't do it," she said and I nodded.

"Remind me before they come," I said and she nodded and left.

I sighed looking at my babies. Where should I leave them? If I call someone from my family then they won't come in time.

I can't leave them by themselves. I pulled out my phone and called Eduardo.

Eduardo: what is it, darling?

Clarissa: can you come to my company? I have a meeting and I can't leave the kids by themselves.

I heard him sigh and I frowned then I heard people talking around.
