Hey guys!!! So I know I'm late but I hope everyone had a good Christmas. Or even if you don't celebrate the holidays I hope you just had a good day anyways. I was hoping to post this yesterday but Christmas is a big thing in my family and I just wanted to enjoy the holidays with my family. So I know I'm late but it's here now. Anyways I hope you enjoy. Until next time!!!
Elliot just knew it was going to be a bad day today.
She had no evidence to prove so. In fact so far the day had been moderately good. She woke up after a good sleep. Watched morning cartoons with Jules before she went out with Dylan for a sibling day seeing as Dylan had the day free from lectures. Jessie had breakfast with them before having some work to do. Promising Elliot that it would only take an hour tops.
So Elliot was left to her own devices for a bit. She worked out a bit and went for a small run. It was only after her shower that things had suddenly taken a turn for her.
As when she got out of the shower she was met with her phone blowing up.
She was met with several notifications saying she was tagged in photos and messages. Throwback Thursday's had been a popular tradition amongst the team. The fans loved them because they got behind the scenes content on the team and the team got to post crazy pictures of each other.
It seemed like a lot of the youngsters in particular had posted pictures some with Elliot in them. And of course this sparked an explosion in the comment sections. All of them wondering about when Elliot will be back. Hoping she was okay and that she would he back soon.
But Elliot couldn't help but feel.... hopeless. When she looked at all the pictures. All she could see was her smiling happy face in those photos.
But she couldn't remember any of it.
She couldn't remember why she was smiling like that. She couldn't remember what had made her laugh so hard. She couldn't remember any of it.
That had left a bitter taste in Elliot's mouth. She had spent the past few weeks bonding with the team again. And while Elliot was slowly getting use to the girls again. She couldn't help but feel left out at times. All the inside jokes she didn't remember. And all the times she had to have something explained to her because she didn't remember all the simple quirks that was normal to the team.
Even spending time with Jessie. Most of the time, Elliot adored spending time with Jessie. It only took a short term of awkwardness and an uncomfortable period but they soon fell back in with each other.
Not like they use to but back to somewhat normal.
Elliot could honestly understand why she had fallen for the Canadian. And she would be lying if she didn't catch herself sometimes thinking or looking at the Canadian for a tad bit too long. There were times were it was almost as if everything was back to normal. When it felt like they had never gotten into that accident that claimed Elliot's memories as victim. When Elliot didn't feel like a stranger and Jessie had never lost the love of her life.
But then we're would be the tiniest little slip.
Jessie would say something that Elliot use to do or a memory from the past would somehow slip into the conversation. Everything would come crashing down. Something so purely innocent as Jessie mentioning something that Elliot didn't remember or understand and they were snapped out of the revere. And they were reminded of the shit storm that shook their world.
And to put it in simple terms, it just put her in a foul mood.
Which unfortunately Jessie happened to stumble in upon.
