Hey guys!!! Yeah I know it's been like a month since I updated. I started my work placement for college and while I love it so much it doesn't give me a lot of down time to write. But I am halfway through my placement and decided to celebrate by editing this to post it. Thankfully I already had this written previously so I had time to edit it. Anyways just a heads up don't think there's going to be many updates until I finish college and my placement just so ye know. (But also I have the next like 2 chapters mostly written and I actually can't wait for you guys to read them). But yeah I know everything is well you you guys. So I hope you guys enjoy! Until next time, bye!!!

Elliot sighed as she finished the last of her notes and flopped back into the chair. She took off her glasses and laid her head on her crossed arms on the table.

The room was quiet. For once. Her phone was switched off due to the amount of tags she was getting and how every news story had something to do with her or the team. And honestly Elliot wasn't sure if she regretted her decision to be the team's medic for the Olympics.

She had spent most of her time between working with the girls to make sure they were all in their best condition possible to play and ducking away from the media and reporters, all asking the same question over and over again.

"Why aren't you playing with the team Elliot?"

Her eyes flickered up to the clock in the room and she pursued her lips when she realized that the team still had another hour and a half of video before they would be finished. Elliot probably should have been down there with them but honestly Elliot did not want to sit through that torture of watching game film especially with how the team were playing currently and used the excuse of wanted to catch up on her team notes.

Elliot hauled herself up from the chair and flopped back down on her bed sighing in comfort as she let herself sink into the bed.

The only thing she was missing now was the person who was meant to be beside her.

However Elliot's peace and quiet was soon interrupted by what sounded like the backfire of a car causing Elliot to jolt up on the bed. She pressed her fingers hard against the sternum of her chest as she tried to get her breathing to steady as she looked towards the window which the curtains covered.

Elliot tilted her head before shaking it off as shock. And instead moved to the bathroom to have a shower before Dylan and Jules came back. She grabbed a towel and turned on the shower to start heating it up before she started to take off her shirt.

However before she could take off anything else her eyes caught something in the mirror.

Without thinking, her head trailed up to her stomach. While Elliot had learned the hard way that she had numerous scars all over the body, this one felt different. For some reason she couldn't help but focus on this specific one.

All her other scars were all over the place. Jagaged and scattered around her body, some overlapping and unplanned.

But this one was different. It was straight and clean unlike the others. It looked well taken care of and professionally done. Her fingers glided over the scarred tissue with a furrowed brow.

"Why is this one different?" Elliot thought before a dull pounding came to her head. She gasped as the sound of the car backfiring sounded again and her headache suddenly got worse.

Elliot tried to breathe. But it seemed that no matter how much she breathed in, no air was getting to her lungs. Another groan escaped her lips as she pressed the palm of her hand into her temple hoping it was allivate some pain but it did nothing.

"Lee?"

Elliot looked up in confusion at the name. Somehow it sounded familiar though. But the better question was who said that. As far as she knew she was alone.
