Elliot was relaxing on her hotel bed. She had the room to herself as Dylan and Jules had gone out with Callie. While Elliot had wanted to join them, she also didn't want to be bombarded by possible paparazzi hanging out so she opted for staying in the hotel much to the dismay of Jules.
Elliot had been splayed half hazardly across her bed on her phone as the TV played in the background when there was a sudden pounding on the door.
Elliot jolted in surprise at the sudden banging at the door. She sat up slowly only cautiously getting up to check the door when the pounding came again just as furiously. Elliot creeped up to the door and peered through the peephole but she only became more confused when she saw who was on the other side of the door.
Elliot swung open the door and tilted her head wondering what could have possibly warranted this kind of reaction.
But all of that left her thought when she saw the furious look in her eyes.
"What the hell were you thinking?" Jessie practically screamed at her as she gave a hard shove at Elliot's shoulders sending the girl stumbling backwards into the room.
Elliot was just able to catch herself as she was forced to walk backwards into the room as Jessie followed her in. "Jessie? What's wr-" Elliot tried but was cut off by another harsh shove from Jessie.
"What the fuck were you thinking?" Jessie continues to shout at her still sending weak jabs at the American.
Elliot frowned at her. She would have been taken back by the fact that Jessie was after cursing at her but she was more worried by the tears welling up in the Canadian's eyes.
"Jessie just tell me what's wrong?" Elliot said gently as she tries to move her hands up for cup Jessie's face but doesn't get that far as Jessie slaps her hands away.
Jessie glares at her and tries to shove her again but Elliot holds strong this time and catches her by the wrists. "Jessie" Elliot murmurs softly as Jessie narrows her eyes at her and tries to wiggle of out her hold, "Talk to me".
Jessie tried to stay strong. She tried to fight her back. Because god-damn it was Jessie furious. And she had ever right to be mad at the girl in front of her because she was in so hurt. She was in so much pain and Elliot was the only one who could hurt her this much.
But as she struggled to pull her hands out of Elliot's grasp she locks eyes with her. And when she saw those gentle blue eyes filled with worry. She couldn't help but let all that anger and fury slip away. She stopped struggling against her and let her body slump into her. Elliot was quick to catch her and hold her into her chest. Jessie sighed as she buried her face into the crook of Elliot's neck letting the last of her anger slip away as she relaxed into her.
Because while Elliot was the only one who could make her feel like this. Who could make her feel so much pain. . .
. . . she was also the only one who could take it away
"Do you have any idea how much you scared me?" Jessie muttered against Elliot's neck as she clutched onto her even tighter.
Elliot sighed as she held the girl in her arms tighter to her chest kissing the top of her head. She racked her brain trying to think what she could have possibly done to make Jessie this distraught. Elliot winced at the familiar pang on her heart when she realized that she was the reason Jessie was like this. "Please talk to me Jessie".
