as i arrived home that night, i couldn't help but ponder about yaoyorozu's words.

when i decided that i couldn't hold off my thoughts any longer, i did what any normal person would do. look for some answers.

so as i sat in my desks chair, i immediately pressed the power button to my old computer, waiting for it to properly load.
eventually i made it to the search engine and clicked out of a few pop-ups, then typed in two words. 'quileute legends'.

as i was scrolling through the links the page provided me with, one in specific caught my eye. 'book results for quileute legends'.
i clicked on the link when an add popped up on the site. 'thunderbird & whale books'.
intrigued, i clicked on it and it lead me to another site for this particular store that was located in port angeles, not too far from here.

looking throughly, i spotted the words 'map' and also clicked on that. the store was located smack dab in the middle of s lincoln st. and front st.

quickly, i grabbed a stack of light purple sticky notes off one of my desks shelves and ripped it, scribbling down the address for when needed.

once it reached around seven p.m, i started to move quickly and efficiently. i stood up from the chair and grabbed the note from off the desk, shoving it into my pocket as i made my way outside to turn the vehicles engine on. mom wanted to go out for dinner, as did fuyumi, so we all agreed to meet up at the local diner in town. carver café.

when i arrived there i immediately spotted fuyumi's car and parked right next to hers. as i peeped on over, there wasn't anybody in there. they must have gotten a table already.

walking through the doors, i couldn't help but think of all the good memories that we had shared at that specific diner. every time that i would come down to forks, with whatever amount of time i had to visit, we always went there at least once or twice a week. a little tradition, if you must.

after a moment of reconciling those memories, i spotted the two in the corner, sitting away from most people.

and they say i'm the introverted one.

dinner was nice, though there wasn't as much talking as i had expected there to be. mother chatted about the volunteer work she did at the hospital, and a little about dr. aizawa on the side– to which me and fuyumi both groaned at, which earned the two of us a hushed whisper that consisted of 'what? he's handsome!'. fuyumi on the other hand, talked about her job and how it was working with the children. she seemed to enjoy her profession, and that's all that mattered.

by the time we were all done eating and chatting with one another, it neared to be closing time. so we tidied up the table to the best of our capabilities and left a ten dollar tip. as we walked out of the diner, i told mom and fuyumi that i'd meet them back at the house, but not without a hug goodbye.

fuyumi and i pulled into the driveway around the same time, maybe a minute or two difference. as i shut the drivers side of the vehicle i told the both of them that i had some homework to finish up– my macbeth essay, and that i was going to start my nightly routine before heading off to bed.

i received a hug and sweet dreams from both of them.

the next morning i awoke, for the second time since arriving here in forks, to the shining yellow light of a sunny day. i slowly made my way to the window, much to my display, stunned to see that there was barley a cloud in the sky. i unlocked my window and opened it. as i stuck my hand out, i could feel that the air was warm, and there was hardly any wind blowing around.
